Sparrabeth

Oh, that's what I think too. It just got me to thinking how much she would really take from her teachers. It also makes you see how she's kind of taken what Will and Jack have both taught her and perfected it. She's like the perfect combination of the two of them and that's what makes her the best pirate of the series.

HA - YES, don't mention the word "teachers" then! At the same time, do remember to, because they do somehow just exist - : p

Yes, I can see how she is a best combination of them. She's classical AND romantic, open to new things still simply, quite the object of lust in everyone's hearts.

I can connect to Elizabeth in my own way. I definitely would have to say she is older - what, so, a year older. Definitely, I never met anyone my age who could do that, like in my graduating class.

I'm kind of the late fan. Whatever emotions she is stuck on does not really concern me whatsoever.

Did you see this girl lately from class of 2003, born Nov. 13, 1984, in California, but it does not say where in Caly:

She hasn't been in a movie since 1995, but, still, it says where she goes to college.

Aw, this does not show the ..stills.. of where the mom holds her.

Oh, Wiki said, "She currently plays raptor-rider on a semi-professional curling team in Dubuque, Iowa." It is some game on ice, "chess on ice." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curling I'm sure ppl are not at all O.K. @ this. In this dumb world, she just needs the work-out, I mean.

I saw, at least one T-shirt last year, that said class of 2003 is people who cannot read. I think @ Snorg Ts (if my 15min aren't up..) I'm sure, quite sure, it was there.

Very true willo. She's the fine line between rascal and noble and that makes her...mayb enot the most loveable but the best pirate.
They've each learned so much from each other.

Yes, a 3-way swordfight would have been a lot of fun. Amazing how Elizabeth can get so good at swords so quickly, huh? lol. On imdb it says that one stunt she does where she stabs the two monsters behind her when she has both swords is sort of a copy of one of Orlando Bloom's stunts in the LOTR series. So it's kind of funny how they have a similar fighting style.

Sorry for the double post but a three way would've been awesome! I can just imagine it....
Another moment I liked was when Jack stabbed the heart and Jack and Elizabeth looked up at davy and it was kinda the three of them being all "In your face Davy!"
Of course Will was half dead...still effective though.

I just realized now that whenever the three are together (or even WE are together) it's always in an emergency situation. On the other hand...Jack just hangs out with people.
We see Jack hanging out with Elizabeth while they're waiting to reach a destination. We see Jack do the same with Will.
Whenever there's the three of them or WE a giant monster is about to attack or is ship is firing on them. What gives?

Violet I don't mean to be rude and I'm sorry if it comes across that way but how does this relate to the topic OR POTC??
Again I'm not dissing your posts but why don't you take them to the off-topic thread?

Not something we usually like to say for various reasons, that girl is in the graduating class of Elizabeth Swann, and it is a big deal to people her age, even if it is not everyone who regularly posts at KMC. Do not get all mad for no reason. I am just bringing it up. There is not much we can say about it at present, but it is important to be able to indicate. Do you want to talk about its relation to Sparrabeth? or do you not know me well and think I am a bit crazy? I am not crazy, though. Let me know, I do not take well to people reporting me because they think I am uncool for posting about a famous child star the same age as Keira Knightley (lol.) Also, remember, I cannot post twice in a row, so I cannot always slice certain thoughts to threads like the Off-Topic, which is why I am not over there at present. PM me or let me know in some Thread if you can help me with my participation or if you know no one here is like me at all and that it is a problem or something else (like how I should not "be here"😉 and can speak for that.

Whoa whoa! Decaf hon. I wasn't mad at all! Quite the opposite...I love talking to people with different interests and ideas. I was just asking why this 'age' issue is so important to you and why it seems to come up in every post.
It interests me how you like to compare people born in different time periods but just like to point out that the beauty of POTC is that it brings everyone together. Doesn't matter if you were born in the 'early 1960's' or if you're my age...we all relate. That's the beauty of good entertainment.
It seems I've gone way off-topic...so I'll stop. Again...I never said you shouldn't "be here". Simply asking what you were getting at.

(Do not delve into this if you are feeling sensitive. It is just.. a plain topic. Let me know if it is the sort of thing you do not like to bring up.)

I have of late solidified that I can define the following years of birth and perhaps more to some extent:

early 1900s
1928
mid-1930s
1939
1941
1948
1949
1950
1951
1952
1953
1958
1959
1960
1961
1962
1963
1964

1980
1981
1982
1983
1984
1985
1986
1987
1988
1989
1990
1991

1993
1994
1995
1996
1997
1998
1999
2000
2001
2002
2003
2004
2005
2006
2007
2008
etc.

as well as the class years of them.

Yes, I would say I am completely in your boat. The big issue with all my peers is that they want to say their parents are people Jack Sparrow's (born 1963) and like Meg Ryan's (born 1961) age and younger, but the other issue is they themselves want to be children longer than whatever age they would then had had them as parents and people like me who feel they have never experienced childhood in life and in the world, not yet pointing to family life, which is rather a different sort of world than this must illude at some level.

Being that we "embrace" the idea that our parents do like Meg Ryan's character in You've Got Mail and Jack Sparrow, our dilemma is that people our whole lives have always done none other than push any desires from us relating to this topic, even if they are between our ages and said parental units.

I am more modern than my peers and not really a baby at all, not that I could be, anyway. I mean, you are supposed to be able to experience life. I look forward to having kids, but -not yet! I need lots of time to do other things at the moment. I miss being a kid with all the little kids is all that upsets me about being at a parental age in their regard..

The reason I am just like you is because I want to be and because nothing prevented me. Other people my age who had it good in our generation tend to want to be old-fashioned in that regard in that they were the hit maybe with the older teens' and young adults' fashions of their childhood.

I never needed to think about this but I end up doing so like all the time to figure out what I am dealing with. So, I do love life, as well.

I see you are born Dec 1992. The people who live the turning ideal life are people born mid 1990 to maybe mid 1992 or around 1990 or 1991 like. You know, like AJ in Aly & AJ. People like Hilary Duff down to Rihanny to Aly to Taylor Swift were trying to mold their whole life off us except they thought more plain European and white. I imagine them still trying to sort this out. They were really completely blown away in such this aspect. It was a whole separate race people born in the late 80's from people born in the mid 80's and and 70's. It was a project as the parents with their kids to remodel people born around when the Olsen twins were born, which is exactly when I was born, only 23 days earlier maybe.

Sorry if I said anything that bothered anyone. I will think about it much more later and might have refined my thought style. 😉

Aw, I really like reading other people's stuff. Oh well. I'll leave this one a cliffhanger and we'll go from there.

(Jack and Liz once again stuck on an island)
Jack: Another fine mess you've gotten me into.
Liz: Me? I drew my sword long before you suggested, 'let's negotiate.'
Jack: And it might have worked....had not their backup come or their cannons fire or any such advantage.
Liz: Now Will will be looking for us. (looks wistfully out at the sea)
Jack: You mean after leaving his dearest, smartest, most closest friend in the entire world to die the whelp still wants you to be Mrs. Whelp? (this is a sarcastic line)
Liz: Jack! Getting us stranded here is one thing, but I will not have you demean Will this way. He and I......He and I.
Jack: After that usually comes "us."
Liz: Leave me alone! (walks to other side of the island)

Sorry for yet ANOTHER double post. Something I've been doing a lot of lately but I wa really bored and looking through this thread...
I though these were really cute and amuzing.
Remember that whole JE "fighting and dancing period"? Now that would have been hot.
If AWE had scenes like this I would forgive them for everything else

(Hey, I answered before your double!)

haha, Tee, your post about the three of them after stabbing the heart got my mind off on "innapropriate ways various POTC scenes could have ended"... perhaps a thread we should start....

Jack holds the heart up, about to stab it. Davy glares at him, and then turns and stabs Will through the heart, turning back with an evil grin.

Davy: Haha! Your victory will always be tainted by the fact that I've killed your friend and (to Elizabeth) your husband... (looks smug)

Elizabeth: Well, you win some, you lose some. I didn't expect that marriage to last long anyways.

Davy: What?!

Jack: You see, mate, you've just cleared the way for us to give the audience the sparrabeth ending they've been dying for since Lizzie and I were first marooned in the Bahamas in our underthings.

Davy: Blast! I was sure I had just ruined both of your lives.

Jack: On the contrary. (tosses knife and heart to Bootstrap, who stabs it. Jones dies) Well, Lizzie my dear, shall we?

Elizabeth: Absolutely. (takes his arm, they prepare to parachute away. The parachute unfolds and has "sparrabeth forever" written on it) Does this mean I have to wear black for a month?

Jack: Well, it'll either be black or nothing...

GAH!! 😄 😄 😄 😄

That was HILARIOUS! Kate, you HAVE TO START THAT THREAD!! 💃

I'll have to think up one for later 😉

Hahahahaaaaaaa! *rolls over laughing* start the thread before I beat you to it!

Sorry, that is actually mid-1991 to mid-1992 bc- I keep getting confused on something now for some strange reason. O well - souljAboy ne1? And now I see again Miley Cyrus was indeed born in late-1992 as opposed to mid-like. Well, something that is more like me anyway is stuff like http://www.girlauthority.com/ who are about age born 1990-1998 I assume from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Girl_Authority -And I am definitely the Country 1, but look @ my pic-

Oh man, Kate, seriously inappropriate! Lol. How about this one?

(Jack holds up the heart with a cocky expression on his face. Davy glares at him and runs Liz through)

Davy: Ha ha ha, so much for love then.

Will: (looks at Jack) Well, she DID cheat on me.

Jack: Aye, and she DID kill me. (holds up heart) Who wants it? (Davy reaches for it. Jack pulls it back) Not you! (wags finger at him)

Will: Hey! Look what I found! (pokes Norrington's dead body with a long stick)

Jack: That's perfect! (helps Norrington stab the heart)

(Davy dies)

Bootstrap and Crew: Part of the crew, part of the ship.

Jack: William! (throws him a side of the parachute. They take off, trying not to touch each other)

ROFL!!!!

"Jack: William! (throws him a side of the parachute. They take off, trying not to touch each other)"
HAHAHAH! Boy would I have loved to see that as a deleted scenes special

Or if their bodies keep knocking against each other and they start sissy-fighting... Anybody have any other totally inappropriate endings?

okay how about this...
[Jack lights the cannon]
Jack:....this would probably never work if I wasn't.
[He's shot up in the air and everyone on the black pearl follows him with their gaze as he flies over their head and disappears into the horizon]
[Will bursts out in an evil laugh]
Will: With him gone I get the spotlight to myself! Now I'm the star!
Barbossa: You wish! The fangirls would rather have me any day of the week. Take him to the brig boys.
[Jack lands with a bang in the locker...among 20 copies of himself]
One Jack: Well well boys look what the cat dragged in!
Real Jack: Oh boys am I glad to see you.
Other Jack: Thought u could just leave us here did you?
Real Jack: No! No! That's not how I meant it--
Other Jack: Sure yo didn't.
Yet another Jack: Get him boys!
[20 jacks start chasing jack]

Anyone got more?
