Yep. But the last 150mill can be the most difficult. Hope it makes it though.

I'm surprised a sequel hasn't been announced yet.
I'm sure it's been decided, just not officially announced. I bet those rumors about fast tracking it are true.

I think those plans were under Robinov (since he's the main man pushing the DC movies), but he has been fired. This could be a bad thing or a good thing. Time will tell.

Why's he been fired?
You haven't heard?! 😱
And a good link to a thread discussing this and what it might mean for the future of the DCverse,

You wouldn't buy an entertaining 3.5/5?I take it you don't own too many Dvd's then Lol.
Yes I would purchase a 3.5 but not that one.
Trust me, I have plenty of films in my collection from Beta to Blue Ray.
Good examples of a 3.5 that I would/have purchased is: 300 and Chronicles of Riddick. They weren't great films but they were entertaining hell.
The fights in Man Of Steel were similar to a DBZ brawl, and had me laughing pretty hard. Nothing memorable though...The Avengers tops this one by a long shot.

yes, the battles were quite DBZ'ish. i think they were striving for transformers level of destruction but synder gave them DBZ level instead. with the level of collateral destruction in from supes and zod in metropolis, i was beginning to think supes backup plan was to wish everyone back.

It's still got someway to go before it triples it's budget. But it's made enough to guarantee a sequel at least.
JLA's another story, because it rests on more than just Superman.
Getting ahead of yourself aren't you Darth? If Zack did another Man Of Steel film It wouldn't be a sequel, it would be another issue. For instance, if he decided to do Doomsday or Darkseid, they wouldn't be sequels, they would be new issues. new issues weren't sequels (unless in a series).
But are you really interested in how much the film made? NO.
Do you really give a damn if Zach made 3 million over the film? NO
Why do you fine gentlemen even bother looking at the budget? even shitty movies can make $$$$ due to hype and media bias...like Peter Jackson's King Kong, it make tons of $$$ but it sucked beyond belief.
The point i'm making is that the amount of money the directors make will have no bearing on if you as an individual will enjoy the film. just watch the shit and say how you feel about it instead of worrying about if he made money from ticket sales.

i wouldn't believe that until WB was actually into production of the movies.
everyone seems to have short term memory but WB made the same hype with Green Lantern movie, that a sequel was on the way and saying it was going to be a shared universe and kick start the JL movie.

well if we were watching Super Man (Christopher Reeves) then he could do more than wish them back, he could fly around the planet counter rotation and reverse time like he did to bring Lois back from dying in an earth quake.
