Eiditic memory, probably IF he has that power on the comics.

Because that is a really good point.

On this "real" setting He is at disadvantage because Zod has military training.

Clark MIGHT have a little bit more experience with his powers.

But who knows how are they going to explain this.

Probably He traveled around the world like Wayne.

That's actually a great plotline. Kryptonian raised on Earth, with powers beyond anything they can obtain is confronted by somebody not only with the same powers, but a military mind and training to back it up. How can Superman possibly overcome such an enemy?

well, my suspension of disbelief works pretty good for stuff like that.. like batman getting back to gotham..

LoL.

Superman is probably more powerful than them since he has been soaking yellow sunlight for years.

But he's still fairly inexperienced in this movie right?

Depends what you mean experienced. The way I see, if my punches make you travel hundreds of feet, you don't need to know how to fight, but use your powers. Comics say otherwise but still

Maybe he is inexperienced in kryptonian combat, but he has more experience with his powers(unless Zod and co. hanged out in other yellow star systems)

The early reactions so far have been very good. Just a few stinkers, but you can't please everyone.

Just watched "Man of Steel". 8/10 stars. But I had to pee so bad towards the end I couldn't concentrate. Don't have a bladder of steel.

For America maybe

27th for me.

Not all films are going to have all positive reviews.

I'm sure even Avengers had some negative reviews

can't please everyone.

Should go without saying but any spoilers for the first week or two after this movie need to be in tags. Anything posted before the fifteenth without tags will be a bad idea.

In that case

i'll be avoided this thread nonstop.

This is one of the best TV Spots.

YouTube video

More positives, but I'm tired of posting them. This IS encouraging news for pre sales.

Fandango: "'Man of Steel' is outselling all previous summer 2013 movies at the same point in the sales cycle."

Notice they say previous summer movies. It's because there are only a few movies that actually hit 100 OW. Still though, it's good news

AND i have to start avoiding these tv spots lol. Ruining the movie for me

So yeah,

Spoiler:
the spoiler is true. Superman snaps Zod's neck to save innocents.

🙁

****.

I'm guessing MOS will get about 75 million on OW.

How do you know it's true? I just find that hard to reconcile with everything else that has been said.

I'm going to try not to let this spoil things for me, and enjoy the rest of the movie.

I'm sure many will like this, probably the majority of people in the cinema will hoot and holler.

But f-uck that. How did DC let this pass if its true?
