the spoiler is true. Superman snaps Zod's neck to save innocents.🙁
****.
I dont mind if they use it like the comics did ie
Spoiler:
make superman extremely conscious of the preciousness of life. Though they might also be trying to distance themselves from nolans "break your one rule" theme.
Also guys please use tags.

Notice they say previous summer movies. It's because there are only a few movies that actually hit 100 OW. Still though, it's good newsAND i have to start avoiding these tv spots lol. Ruining the movie for me
I know what it said. I'm just pointing out that it's good news so far for MOS.
Another review. 4.5/5.

Indiewire also states it has a strong case to make it one of the best movies of the year, which is the only blockbuster on the list.

Agreed. And I'm assuming the context of the scene will give Supes a good reason for killing Zod like in TDK when Bats kills Two-Face.
"Out of everything that impressed me, it was easily the major action sequences that topped the list. Superman’s powers are put to full use, and since his foes this time around are Kryptonian as well, he’s going toe to toe with beings that can cause absolute destruction on a massive scale. If you’re expecting Snyder’s traditional slow motion techniques, you will find none here. The sense of super speed and sheer power on display provides an exhilaration beyond anything done in last summer’s The Avengers and certainly tops any superhero film thus far.

I really liked this quote, too.
@SixOkay
Remember how you loved those crazy-powerful Hulk scenes in Avengers? That's EVERY fight scene in #ManOfSteel. Go see it. June 14.

Superman is probably more powerful than them since he has been soaking yellow sunlight for years.
In one of the TV spots, I noticed Jor-El was wearing a "supersuit" before he had his armor on (it was a quick shot of the top of the suit), which suggests the suit may be some kind of armor undergarment...which is all a more powerful(?) Kal-El may need, whereas Zod and his cohorts still need more protection.
I wonder how MoS will treat how Earth's sun affects inanimate Kryptonian materials (like precrisis, where anything from Krypton became indestructible under a yellow sun?).
I'm still wondering how the doctors ripped off Supes' suit in "Returns" after he fell back to Earth. The suit was strong enough to survive re-entry and a meteoric crash.
I dunno if that's true, but somehow, Kal El will have to defeat and/or restrain Zod, Faora, and Non. He's in the time period shown in the movie, the only superhuman being who can go toe to toe with other Kryptonians, (Until a JLA movie is made). Batman in the Nolan trilogy, killed more than once. He let Ras Al Ghul die in the train crash in BB, he rammed the dump truck with the Tumbler in the lower fifth road and crushed it against the roof, he made the truck the Joker and his goons were driving, flip over, and that's somethin' that could've potentially killed em' all, and maybe some did died. He also used lethal force in TDKR shooting with the Bat his missiles against the tumblers, so I don't see much of an issue having Superman in the MOS movie doing somethin' like beheading the other Kryptonians with a mixture of heat vision and superstrong punches on the neck or snapping it or whatever it takes. Otherwise the only other way to defeat em, is a phantom zone portal, which we've heard no word of. Plus there ain't no kryptonite in this new DC movie universe, so how exactly the "boyscout Superman lovers" expect him to win? With a speech about moral integrity? Gimme a break

He is going to win somehow, most likely phantom Zone, kill them or talk them down.I think it matters little as long as the movie is good and for the looks of the reviews, you should not worry about it.
I will not mind if He kills them. This is supposed to be more realistic tbh
Glad to hear we concur on it man. What is misleading about a "happy ending" is that in the footage on IGN http://www.ign.com/videos/2013/06/03/man-of-steel-publicity-special we see a lot of kryptonians, gettin' off that ship. Three could've been already a hard task, but 5 or 6? I mean, no way this is gonna hand without a dead alien invader!!!
I honestly can't wait for this movie! There seems to be quite a few Kryptonians Superman has to fight, should be interesting.
IF Superman kills I honestly won't have a problem with it. The whole Superman can't kill ever just seems ridiculous to me. In the real world not a fantasty one (and I know Superman is in a fantasy world) bad guys are killed by the good guys. Sometimes it happens and is the only way.
I'm just wondering how he can't be overwhelmed when taking them all on? They have those suits, and I sure haven't seen any of the other Kryptonians fly. They have powers no doubt but maybe they're not as powerful as Superman?

That's utterly disappointing, its as if people just couldn't write something more creative and more inspirational with frigging Superman. There is a difference between avoiding campiness and imposing sh_tty decisions.

Spoiler:
They will probably use that to show a more experienced, matured Superman conscious of his decision. Will probably be the reason for Superman's vow of not killing.
Heh. Not much of a boyscout now is he?
