IMO Yes you are right 😄 He may not realize it yet, hopefully he will in AWE. But, there is something about her that he cannot explain. As to why she is always on his mind.

She's a pirate just like him.

what I doubt is that Jack would want liz as a baby machine maker.

Insert a sperm, then out comes the baby like a coke machine

same here. He's not scouting out potential mothers. If he didn't plan on falling in love, he's not planning to become a dad.

Its just Liz thats the worry...she is only really lusting after Jack..UNTIL..I would say the moment he comes back and after the kiss...after that it does become something more but I dont know what exactly...I think the only thing sshe would love about Jack is the honest side of him but sadly..I think thats also her greatest threat..the good man won through and I really do think their was a purpose for that moment where Liz sees him come back and its crucial to why she does what she does to him and they are just not describing it on the DVD..there was emphasis on Jack being a godlike man..like a gaurdian angel..who's pure and good..and this obviosly makes Liz feel something..she clings to his leg etc..and then all off a sudden she is so threatened by him that her thoughts turn to thinking that if that man was dead he's no longer a threat..

I think liz is denying what she really wants, and is forcing herself to believe that its only lust..and that only will can cure her for that.

yeah possibly..

because they made a point that she sees him leave and come back..and THEN she does what she does yet they don't really suggest that what she does to him at the end is anything to do with what just happened between the two but it was obviously an important moment. They found the need to show us that she sees Jack leave and come back and this directly links in with what she said Jack would have to be if they were to ever be together..this may have been what made her feel so threatened..because now she has a reason to..dare I say..LOVE him?

LOL No 😆 That's not it. Is that is really hard to explain what I think was going on with Jack. He started getting worried when he got the black spot. Obviously Liz was on his mind before that. But he started realizing other things when he got marked, and he realize his life was possibly coming to an end.

Jack is going through mixed emotions. And I think he's having feelings that he never thought he could have. And I guess he's also frustrated bc he needs to be a true pirate. And a pirate should not be the type to want a woman-not just any woman but Liz, and have a child and raise a family.

The compass was messing up on him bc it was pointing towards ports royal where Liz is, and then hes battling he's feelings going like "no no no you are a true pirate and a true pirate wants rum, freedom, and women, not liz"

OMG Yes 😄 He wants to have a legacy, but still he wants to have a companion and raise a family. Although he may not realise it yet.

You said it makes him to be a guardian angel, and I fully agree. I don't have a clip, but watch the scene when he comes back and Liz looks up at him. More specifically, look just behind him. I can't tell if it's a tentacle or a sail, but the way it is behind him and the way it's moving, it looks like he has a wing, and the sun shining on him....total angel. Plus he's always been the one to look out for her.

right now i don't think he's wanting to have a child..i think it may possibly be subconscious..we cant really be saying he wants a kid..but he knows he wants to continue living..continue his legacy, he doesn't want to die..he wants to find the means to save his own skin but why is lizzie popping into his head ay?? 😛

hang on a seck..the SAIL???😱..goes to look.

Yeah, there is something flapping behind him and I always thought it was made to look like an angel wing.

the sail? Whats up. Whats on your mind?

I don't think the idea of a kid at all is very pleasing. Alot of the people who are major fans of POTC like it because it's thrilling and adventurous. Sticking a child in there would be like ending everything and saying that they'll be in normal lives thinking about the adventures they have and telling their kids about the glory days.

IMHO I wouldn't be a fan of POTC at all if they put a child in there, that would be a sloppy ending. If they're planing to do the 11 or 9 years later with the kid, I think I'll barf in my seat and mail it to T&T. Seriously, it'd be awful. Cause you just see a kid that looks like Jack and stuff and Elizabeth too. And he barely has a history, you don't know him. You just know his father.

IMO, that wouldn't be fair to the character. You'd only see him as his father or mother not as a seperate person. And I guess I'd feel alittle jealous of the child because he'd probably 'steal' his father's legend and continue the legacy yada yada yada. I don't wanna see a new character at the END OF A TRILOGY, that's idiotic to introduce a personality before the credits and make a whole new trilodgy about what happend or something.

I'm sorry if I sound crabby or old fashioned but I would really prefer them sailing into the sunset than a soap-opera twist at the end. I wanna see the hero's in action, not sitting back in a rocking chair talking to their grandchilren. I guess when I hear Jack as a married person settling down I immediatly see him in as an old man with greying hair and a limp. I do NOT want our lovely, adventurous Jack Sparrow to be pictured that way.

And I know I'm being ignorant in saying that he has to stay the same and that everybody can't be young forever, but I honestly think most of the audience would like to see Jack in action. Not laying back and letting his children continue his great legacy. That doesn't feel right...it's like giving away all you hard work to some one else, and I know to Jack it wouldn't be any person off the street but since we wouldn't get a back story of the children we wouldn't know them at all. They might as well be strangers.

Hmm, I just hate the idea of Liz being a baby machine. I don't think Jack would ever think of her as a mother, and I can't see her raising child. She's too flighty and she can't stay in one spot without losing all her spunk. She's had to stay in Port Royal alot of her life and I dont' think she enjoyed staying put.

That's why she likes the sea, that's why she was fasinated with pirates because they can do anything they want to do. I think having a child would limit her freedom of movement, if Jack were to sail then Liz would have to look after the child(ren) and I can NOT see her as an apron wearing house wife.

And I know it might not be that way in the movie, but how is the audience supposed to know that it'll be different than any other 'settling down with a family' act. They've seen movie after movie of that and they've built an impression. If that impression is broken then they will either accept it or most of them would ( I'm predicting ) deny it and refuse it completly.

Hopefully, there'll be no kids. I don't think that's Jack Sparrow. Maybe he'll have some kids later in his life with Liz, but for now, in AWE I dont' wanna see any little pirates running around!

PS: I'm not saying Jack has a death wish. He's all about self-preservation, but he's of the mind that if he's going to completely free, he's going to have to get dirty and come close to death as a price. The man lives for challenges and to be literally immortal, to have all that challenge taken away, I think would bore him and he would feel caged.

I'm also not saying that Jack is opposed to kids. I think he wants them. I just think he's decided it's impossible to have them. Just like he decided it would be impossible to be a pirate and also fall in love. Now he is in love, but I think it's going to take another revelation to see that he could also have children.

i know you hate kids...but I think the kid is gonna very much be a pirate...if there is to be one that is..and S&S..this is the end..it needs closure IMO..the next movie isnt a continuation..its going to be a prequel..

also Willo..Its a kraken tentacle 😄..and yeah it does look weirdly like a wing..

POTC DMC is the most confusing movie that I have ever seen. Apparently Jack is portrayed in DMC as a some sort of god/angel like. Man, if you guys get the chance to watch the davinci code 2 part special feature disc. Watch were it says the codes of the davinci code. It gives good insights about symbols in movie. That hallo/wings around Jack has something really important to do with him.

Yeah, I don't want to see kids in AWE either, swann&sparrow. I want him to have them, but not in the movies. That would be a little too contrived. But I want him to eventually have them.

Movies where the action hero(es) later has a kid always do the same thing: they make the mom a minor character and all she can do is nag and/or be turned on by the dad, and they make the dad this childish, overprotective twit that has to be taught some "lesson" by his kid.
