Great Warrior

He wins one, he loses one. Opposite position reflects this.

Disposable Apprentices

ive never looked at this thread
glad i have
well put together
pretty good to see the evidence all in front of you
and good reason to stay away from the PT

I used the Dooku/Anakin duel before to show the parallel to the Vader/Luke duel in ESB, but I also noticed a similar fighting stance here.

Vader's such a dick, he should give these guys a hand.

Whoa Nelly

Defeated and Down the Hole

The more I see, the more unoriginal the PT gets. You're making things better. 😂

His Favorite Chair

Similar set designs and situations.

Repeated visual motif, perhaps?

Ditto.

HA! You thought you'd seen that shot before, didn't you?

I think I posted this one already, but this is a better grouping of shots.

Okay, its an obvious one, but good to see that they stuck to continuity.

That mace one would make a cool sig and avatar.

Alliance, wanna make one for me if you have spare time? 🙂

Anakin Meditates

Repeated dramatic motif - the birth and destruction of an Empire is preceded by a Dark Lord at the mercy of a Jedi. In ROTS he chooses to strike and is overpowered by the evil he sought to destroy. In ROTJ he chooses to lay down his weapon and saves the galaxy entire.

A New Hope.....Luke Skywaler

Probably my favorite one. I can hear the Force Theme in my head when I look at it. 🙂

I cried when I saw that in theaters. I'M SUCH A P*SSY!

You are.

Except not. 😈

That's alright dude. 😂

I didn't cry but I was choked up and misty eyed from when Obi-wan says "You were the chosen one!" till the credits rolled.

So many things to take in.

That speech he gives, Vader's birth, Padme's death, the twins birth, the Death Star, Alderaan, and then baby luke at the homestead in front of the twin suns.

Man. 🙂

What a great flick. One of the best times that I ever had at a theatre.

Back to the pics on mon.

These are really good, I never really noticed these things before.

Some are more stylistic than intended parrallels I'm sure.

I agree, but there certainly are elements that overlap....*hands*

Hands for sure.... a great many of them. Everybody loses their hands: Anakin, Luke, Mace, Vader...

...Yoda, Dooku....

😑

Yoda?

Oh yeah, I knew I forgot one... Dooku. Who else?
