Thanos' best showings cannot all be attributed to "jobbing". When he was first introduced he was above the likes of Captain Mar-Vell, Thor, Adam Warlock, etc. After he resurrection he was portrayed as being above Thor, Sufer and other heralds. Today he is still beating on heralds like Fallen One, defeating a cube being in the Maker, etc. He is clearly meant to be above Earth's heroes, low cosmics and heralds.

You are looking to back Superman yet want to say Thanos has a jobber aura, thats fine. Realize it's a two way street, if you want to cry jobber to Thanos be prepared for someone to call you on it when you bring up Superman.

I heard the comment about you dont like Supes anymore but I honestly didnt remember it, its certainly hard to follow all the comments of every single person in a forum like this.

So exactly Where do Superman, DS, and Despero fit in the DCU order of things? Is Superman not above every other Earth Hero and most Heralds? Even some cosmic have found it hard to put superman down. DS being one of them. DS is the balance of the source. I'd hardly count him as equal to Thanos. yet let this forum tell it. And Despero is clearly above all DC top tiers including the above everybody Superman and even the magic wielding Alan Scott. Yet Thanos is touted as getting easy victories over Despero as well. I just DO NOT GET IT.

I also wouldn't say Superman is above most heralds, maybe in physical strength and durability but heralds have a lot more powers.
I don't think I've ever said who would win between Thanos and Despero, and I don't recall saying Thanos would get easy victories. I assume most people consider Thanos the smarter of the two, and has a wider variety of powers at his disposal so give him the edge.
It's funny that there has not been a single example of the said "Jobber aura" Thanos has. And here is Thanos's battle intelligence example.

Exactly Superman goes down he isn't stronger or more durable than Thanos. Superman won't have been able to trade blows with WM Thor IMO and He won't have walked away from Odin's blast either IMO.

DS fought Superman pretty much near the Sun. DS even Commented on Superman's growth in strength. I dont' know if I count Superman beating DS considering the sheer amount of PIS that isn't allowed in this forum and yet people like to bring it up.
