Some claim it is impossible to speedblitz Thanos. This point of view fascinates me. Has anybody ever tried doing this to Thanos ?

Some say this just doesn't work against Thanos.

Why would it? Thanos is fast enough to intercept stuff that moves faster then the speed of light on close range.

Some have tried it, his brother Eros being the one everyone thinks of. Though Eros got a few punches in that were quick, Thanos snatched him out of the air like he was nothing.

Darkseid IS on Thanos' level.

The only reason people would use that as an actually occurance would be to make Thanos >>>>> Darkseid.

Thanos, for example, would never let Superman fly him to the sun. And even a sundipped Superman would get shit-stomped by Thanos.

Eros is no Superman.

That's obvious, but he's quick in his own right. He and Quasar both held off the Shiar Imperial Guard in Operation: Galactic storm, sans Gladiator.

Good. Why can't Thanos have put op a force field in the mean time ? He can make ten force fields while Surfer is preaching.

It is mindboggling to block a beam while it is coming at lightspeed at you and you block it AFTER it is launched.

This isn't an particularly amazing feat or anything but its decent reactions considering the rock was nearly at him and being fired by the mind-gem

Good. Why can't Thanos have put op a force field in the mean time ? He can make ten force fields while Surfer is preaching.

1. Because the chair does not make forcefields. Notice that the field stays there even when the chair teleports away. Only version of the Space Throne ever shown to make forcefields was the third version, and even that was only the personal forcefield.

2. It wasn't up. Look at the second panel.

3. And if you notice, Thanos makes the field AFTER Surfer launches his beam. Surfer talking doesn't matter.

Um no get lost please. WHEN Thanos has the power to heal the source, Move planets around the universe with his mind and manipulate not only time and space, but reality, then he'll be equal to DS. Until further notice, he's not even in DS league.

People act as if Thanos regularly deflects multiple light speed attacks. I don't see it happening. Could thanos Stop Superman from landing hundreds of thousands of near simultaneous punches? no. He's been hit by much slower. This match isn't an easy win for Thanos. Period. He wins. But not easy.
