Cmon people! Majority of the posters on this thread think Thanos wins. I'm merely part of the minority that thinks it's a toss up and favour Superman slightly. Post crysis Supes is beatable for one reason and one reason only, compelling story telling. We've seen Superman incarnations that would pummel nearly every version of Thanos to a bloody pulp.
Why is it far fetched to think that well written post crysis Supes edges a sensibly written Thanos (who's nothing but a Darkseid copy to start with)?
Again, I'm pretty casual with these debates, so I don't get what all the uproar is about. It's not like Superman isn't one of the most powerful Superheroes in comics.

Thor putting on the weapons. Also, had the Belt of Power, which would double the Odin Power armour he had. Basically, Odin Powered Thor x2.
Thor is decked out and ready to fight.
Thanos eyebeams him, while he was working on destroying the universe.

Also, that was a clone. But, he shouldn't have been.
The only reason it was ret-conned as such, was because Thanos died.
So, Thanos should be higher than that.
Still not a bad feat for Thanos to lose to a Odin Powered Thor with the Belt of Strength though.
I don't think Thor can take Thanos one on one. In one of Thanos' earliest appearances he was beating on Thor and Thing at the same time, only Warlock returning saved Thor (and Thanos has only gotten more powerful since then). And post-resurrection Thor with the power gem couldn't even keep Thanos down, and Thanos showed even Odin has trouble finishing him off, who is way above Thor.
Even in that clone appearance with Mangog Odin saw a vision of the future where Thanos was going to kill Thor with an eyeblast, which is why he creates all that armour and things, and Thor says that before he got the new gear his enchanted hammer was outmatched against Thanos.

A bit later, Marvel decided it was a Thanos clone. Still impressive for Thor.

The power ups for Thanos are irrelevant as Thor destroyed what was giving him the extra power and reverted him back to normal, Thor inflicted hardly any damage on the upgraded Thanos. Once the extra power was gone he defeated him.
Its a pointless example anyway, show me regular Thor beating regular real Thanos, that would prove a point.

But it still doesn't take away the fact that this Thanos had a big upgrade. So did Thor of course.
