I don't think he can show Thor beating Thanos.
I can show you an pre-death upgrade Thanos (weaker the post-upgrade) beating normal Thor. In two shots. And Thing was helping Thor.

And that was a lot WEAKER Thanos.

^^ Awesome scans, proving yet again that Thanos stomps out classic Thor, pre-upgrade no less.

I don't see regular Thor beating regular Thanos. Maybe 2/10, if that. But it still doesn't take away the fact that this Thanos had a big upgrade. So did Thor of course.
So you admit not only that Thanos can take out Thor, but got upgraded in power on top of that, so it's a no-brainer that he stomps out Superman. What again was the point of your post?

Nothing screams badass like stopping mjolnir dead in its tracks 😄

Quoted for lies.Thor was upgraded (belt and all), but so was Thanos ! He used :
- the Illumination Stone
- the Chalice of RuinsThanos (clone) had a BIG power up.
The clone had a big power up, which got knocked away while he was distracted during Thor's attack. Thor then managed a win over a clone. Big whoop, your point has nothing to do with the thread, which is Thanos versus Superman. All you are doing is pointing out that a clone of Thanos could probably beat Superman as well, if it took Thor that much just to take out a measly clone.

Maybe Thor's upgrade was bigger than Thanos's 😉
Thanos : The legends are true! Drink from the Chalice of Ruins a single tear of the Designate’s and you will have the power to loosen wave after wave of unimaginable death that shall sweep the cosmos, planet by planet, until not a shred of life remains.
And I'm not even talking about the Illumination Stone !
A bit more powerful than a belt and an Odin-powered armour, wouldn't you say ?

Cmon people! Majority of the posters on this thread think Thanos wins. I'm merely part of the minority that thinks it's a toss up and favour Superman slightly. Post crysis Supes is beatable for one reason and one reason only, compelling story telling. We've seen Superman incarnations that would pummel nearly every version of Thanos to a bloody pulp. Why is it far fetched to think that well written post crysis Supes edges a sensibly written Thanos (who's nothing but a Darkseid copy to start with)?
Again, I'm pretty casual with these debates, so I don't get what all the uproar is about. It's not like Superman isn't one of the most powerful Superheroes in comics.
Let's see.
Account created yesterday: Check
Posts in the same thread that the rest of his forum alts that were banned posted in: Check
Voted for Superman because nobody else will: Check
Count for Superman goes up: Check.
Only a real loser creates multiple identities to boost a fictional character's poll count in a comic book forum. That is just really pathetic. If you're going to vote, fine, but is there really a need to create 20 different forum id's to do it? That's just sad.
Go ahead, post your defense under an alternate ID now who isn't you, we all know you can't resist 😉

Why is the vote count going up for superman so suddenly? A total of 96 votes? On a busy day this forum doesn't even come close to that many people browsing this forum. Here's a new suggestion to the mods:
Make a 7 day waiting period for all new members to vote in polls.
This is an excellent idea. Co-signed. He admitted in another thread having so many old accounts via SOCKS that he forgot the passwords on some of them, but at least if there was a rule like that it would stop the idiocy for a little bit.

Even pre crisis, Superman had people on "his" class. And above.

Democracy wins again. Its far fetched because one of the two was always written on its own class above top tiers and another wasent.

That's because Supes is a......(wait for it)....a hero. What super hero do you know is written to be above every top tier? Also, putting Thanos' history into perspective and ignoring the fact that he's a copy of a god Superman has curb stomped several times, he's abilities are not properly defined.
And that's mainly because almost every impressive thing he does is nothing but a plot device. If a sensible writer/s handle this hypothetical fight Supes IMV has a fifty percent chance of beating Thanos.
