That scan can be interpreted as SS missing and not Thanos reacting (as said by the narrator). Plus Thanos had the IG which alters his levels somewhat (not fully though). Also reacting is not the same as succeeding. For example, I can react to a baseball coming at me but too slow to move out of the way.I didn't say it took a 1/2 second, I said it SEEMED as if it was. He stated word for word he wouldn't see his enemies next move and he cut all sensory input off from the gems meaning his skills/reflexes accomplished the feat.

Thanos reacted to a Surfer blitz out of nowhere so it's much more impressive than fighting someone and reacting than reacting to someone's top speed while fighting someone else.

You like to pick and choose the feats that suit you. Typical Quanchi. Superman has shown to travel much faster than light multiple times yet you choose a feat where he barely keeps up at light speed? Because he was punching at CA, thus it was like SS trying to hit a moving target. Hell, SS did worse in comics before and missed Thor in space when he didn't have his hammer.
Why mention the Prime thing when it offers no evidence towards the debate? It justs make you look like a pick and chooser. Also Prime was on his way to OA, thus he exceeded light speed or it would have taken him years to reach. Prime says "through the planet at light speed" not "to the planet at light speed."

He didn't hit Caqp he moved his hand. Then he realized what he risked and slapped Cap down and restored himself to full power.
He stated he was moving at light speed. I was showing you an example of someone moving at light speed and Superman failing to keep up. That's just travel speed to boot.
It's all printed in black and white so try as hard as you want to it's already crystal clear.
Why would Prime slow down to wreck Oa? You make no sense once again.

If Superman can't keep up with a guy it makes it more dramatic then if he catches him when he wants to.
When Prime stood there they caught him but when he turned on the speed they couldn't. They caught him later after the willpower walls slowed him down.
