You're conflating perception with reflexes, which is attenuated.

Flash can amp someone's reflexes with the Speedforce, but that doesn't necessarily grant them heightened visual acuity, etc.

But he saw SS, meaning that with his regular perception it was enough, since his ability to see things was not enhanced at all.

It's something called the Infinity Gauntlet. Trying to divorce anything he did in that storyline from the Infinity Gauntlet's omnipotent power is like trying to pick and choose feats that Parallax performed in Zero Hour and yelling, "Look! Hal Jordan did that! Nothing to do with Parallax's power!"
Is this another one of those times you are ignoring the words in a comic and forming your own opinion.

Did SM defeat him then? sounds PISsy to me

Correction, it was the source not the presence.
After seeing the source subdued supes smashes into amped DS with all hes got cutting him in two. DS then instantly reforms saying that such a base attack is now of no consequence and one shots him.
That attack was only from about 100 ft. way by the way.

Well, I think that has more to do with wanting to show DS was above such attacks, cause he shouldn't be that fragile normally.

He might have caught the twinkle in his eye, but nothing's to say he avoided under his own power when he's wielding godlike might. [especially when Surfer 'missed', but this is assuming Thanos' did such under his own power, as that's a different debate.]

did hal ever restrict himself to using a select portion of the parallax entity's power to show off?

why say it?

They could have showed that by having supes just bounce off of him.

not with the same drama.

What kind of a trans/low skyfather gets torn in half by a bullrushing herald from 30 meters away? let alone one that amped. It's ridiculous, it makes more sense that he would allow himself to be torn to demonstrate he is above physical attacks.

The kind that gets hit by the universe is in perile supes. Not to mention DS mentions how that attack from behind only happened because he was as of yet not use to his newly found omniscience

Yeah the whole 'universe is in peril so SM jumps wight class and nigh omnipotent DS becomes soft as a baby' is just the definition of PIS to me. An attack like that shouldnt split regular DS in half.

I'd agree if it wasnt for his uncanny ability step it up often enough

No, if Hal specifically said he was removing X power Parallax gave him, then it would be perfectly valid to discount said power.

yeah, but everybody does that, it's just the way comics are, heroes must save the day somehow.

Why do so many on this thread discount supes ability to get any wins.

After reading Thanos's End Game and Death of the new gods which both where written by Starlin I have to conclude that superman is in fact stronger, faster and more durable by far which makes me a prescriber to the punch to ko formula ive read about here.
