Correct me if I am wrong but didn't he need an alternate Marvel's aid in lifting something ? Even alternate Marvels are equals it seems to Superman.

He needed his aid and it was an alternate Marvel so what does it have to do with ne Marvel.

Without preparation? Hmmm... I think i still give this battle to Thanos. He's tougher. He withstood a fullblast strike from Silver Surfer. Thanos has energy manipulating abilities too. If Superman still depends on solar energy, that makes Thanos a deadlier opponent.

It was stated that Superman has mental blocks which causes him to hold back subconsciously. No other hero does this on Superman's level. Heroes mostly hold back consciously, not subconsciously. He was raised as a child to be gentle and loving. This is his glaring weakness. If Superman and BA fought they would appear even but guess what? BA isn't holding back and Superman is.

When Superman isn't holding back or is unleashed then he easily surpasses the Marvels, WW, and mostly any other top tier in strength. It was stated he IS the strongest on Earth recently. You can't deny this.

Superman will win with physical strikes not energy projection. Superman is faster and can pop Thanos before he makes his first action. The combo will pursue.

superman being faster stronger and more resistent , the thing with superman is the fact he holds back most of the time but an all out mad superman would destroy thanos

Per feats, Thanos, Prune Puss, had the edge in:

Getting stabbed by Wolverine

Being ugly

So it's clear that Supes wins this. If there are no complaints, I can close this thread and declare Superman the winner.
