Thanos has reacted to the Surfer while fighting someone else with a headstart and at optimum speed. There's nothing either can do against Thanos they aren't anywhere near as powerful to be anything to Thanos other than a minor annoyance.

Like I basically said; Thanos beating Superman or Surfer moving at "c" is pure BS...real world physics support this.
