Like I said back 20 pages ago or something, many of Thanos' showings show that he should be able to beat Superman... but then again, he seems weak towards the things that Superman brings to the table. I'm not saying Superman would beat him every rip or everything, but it's not a Thanos landslide, and Superman would win at least once.

lol...what?I think Avalon posted his galaxy-destroy blast absorption, if not on this thread than on one of the other Superman threads. He's used it against me on a number of occasions, now I'm returning the favor, hahaha.
I'd post examples myself, but there's no need to. For more info on Superman's insanely unfair combat speed/durability/healing feats, just go here:

I mean, just going through a quick once over of the first page alone, he took a blasts of "a million nuclear blasts", survived the explosion of the sun eater which, well, eats suns and threw a moon-sized ship casually.
Damn. 🙁
He absorbed the anti-sunlight that powered Mageddon. He was never hit by a galaxy destroying blast.
'Moons' come in various sizes, but the feat is impressive none-the-less.

As for fighting speed feats, I've seen them all before. Nothing too impressive. Spiderman can do multiple images. Thor too. I don't see it being that great of an advantage.
Can Spider-Man or Thor hear a gunshot from Iraq while in Metropolis, fly to Iraq, pick up cotton balls somewhere along the way, put cotton balls in the ears of the hostages so they won't go deaf from the sonic boom, stop the bullet, and knock out the gunmen before the bullet hits the target from a foot away? or move so fast that he vibrates himself intangible, causing everybody to fall, then create a gust of wind under each person to soften their fall before they actually hit the ground?
I didn't think so. lol.
You honestly don't find things like that impressive?

That's not fighting speed. 😛
Yes, those are impressive. Superman's speed is impressive. However, it cannot be compared to the likes of the Silver Surfer.

I'm sure if you asked those gunmen and those attackers, they'd say otherwise....once they regained consciousness, lol.
Silver Surfer has virtually 0 combat speed feats.
