Now, for my personal opinion, I don't think DC has many interesting comics outside of Batman. They have too many heroes that get their powers enhanced every time there is a global threat.

What a crock. Ever heard of the X-Men? Who hasn't had their powers upgraded on that team? 😂
Gee, thanks for spitting on my apology. I don't like God-like characters. So sue me. You could not be b*tch about it, and Cube, you could not be an ass. I said I was sorry, and you continued. Douchebags.
Wow. No need for such hostility. I am a Marvel fan myself. I'm just voicing my disappointment with the company. I am not attacking you.
It's best not to insult people. Personally I'll refrain from reporting you, but I don't know if The Ion will be so generous. You seem like a nice guy. Don't let your emotions get the best of you.
Sorry about that Ion and Cosmic Cube. I haven't had the best of days. Yeah, the X-Men do have the problem of powers growing, but House of M kinda did away with that a little bit, aside from Colossus. Now he's 100+ with his strength level. Supposedly now he could punch Juggernaut and possibly stop him from moving forward.
Marvel Zombies was cool, Ultimates is pretty good, and Sentry's first series was great. However, whenever Bendis says that Sentry is gonna play a huge role in the Marvel Universe, then it worries me, because most Superman-esque characters in the Marvel universe are 2D and pompous jerks. Heck, Sentry now is more like a robot than anything else.

To answer your question, Demigawd, he was overhyped. He started making a lot of changes, and influencing a lot of changes in 616 that pissed off a lot of fans. The deaths of Carnage and Eddie Brock have both been acredited to him, because he and Millar are friends. About 70% of the changes made in 616 since he came to Marvel have been a backlash. He's considered a curse. Also, Ion, Jenkins does have a purpose for the character, and I know with him handling it, it wouldn't be a Superman knock off, but with Bendis, I know it will.
