I agree. I think the best hot, relationship there could be is the bad boy steals the good girls heart. And she becomes rebellious and feels more freedom and comfortable to her sexuality.

I completely agree that is so hot in movies I like it.

Whatever happened to being comfortable with yourself sexually just by being who you are? Elizabeth is part pirate, yes, but she's also a lady, born and raised to be one. Why does she have to lose one part of herself to be 'free'?

Isn't self-acceptance just as freeing as trying to become someone else? And please understand that I KNOW Liz behaves like a pirate; what I'm saying is, she has other aspects to her personality. Why is it that she has to choose one or the other?

On a more shallow note, I don't find the spark between Jack and Elizabeth all that attractive, but then, I'm a bit jaded in the area of sex, so Jack's behavior is a huge turn-off for me.

mmm... not for me. 🙂 despite being somewhat jaded about love and romance, a man who can offer adventure pretty much trumps everything.

But its problematic for me that they try to pair Elizabeth with the dude she has the least chemistry with. Jack and Norrington are right there, both with amazing talent and chemistry... come on.

I'd just like to point out that most of the adventure Jack would be taking Elizabeth on would more than likely because of stupid mistakes he's made, or from using various people and making them pissed off.

I'm not sure Elizabeth would always want to be cleaning up his messes, and I'm not sure she'd really enjoy the whole plundering and stealing, because inevitably, someone will fight back against her, and she'd end up having to hurt or kill that person...I'm not sure she could handle that. She's already a wreck about Jack, and he's not that innocent as it is.

And I think Elizabeth and Will have plenty of chemistry. You're just bored by it. 😄

I have never seen the chemistry, I think she has more chemistry with all the animals, specially the monkey.

If Will and Liz had that much chemistry, the first pirates movie would've ended with a complete satisfaction, instead it left us with a "what if" thought with Jack and Liz.

And yes, we are bored with them because they have no chemistry, duh lol.

Non what so ever. I love Johnny and Keira working together. They take the audiences beyond the movie screen. Therefore when W/E are together on screen it feels so boring and dull. Like been there, done that.

I personally don't see where Liz started liking Will. It semmed kind of one sided on Will's part, until the VERY end and all of a sudden she is in love with him. We have no evidence in the movies that were or are even to the point of friendship. Thy never have nice, friendly, happy moments, they are all serious. They don't make jokes with eachother and laugh, like Jack and Liz do.

Also, I don't think Liz is going to abandon all of her honesty and dignity and honour. It is a part of her, but so is piracy. A challenge for her is going to be balancing those two parts of herself, she could never give up either of them.

Out of the subject a bit but I have to admit that I love Orlando and Keira together.

To be fair, I was satisfied with just one POTC movie. I figured that's just the way things were and they were actually being original not having Liz go with Jack instead. It seemed like he got all the women and he finally met his match with her AND didn't end up with her. I thought that was genius film-making. It still was in my mind, but I thought that it was more original that she went with Will.

me to Im an Orli/Keira shipper. They make a nice couple in real life.

Also aelizabeth what you said was really interesting about Liz not abandoning her dignity and honor. I don't think she will ever do that. But piracy was sort of like a dream for her. As you can see she feels guilty for lusting for another man that is not Will. And she also feels guilty

for killing a man she may indeed love

^^ I was OK with the first Pirates movie. It just left me with the curiosity of what if Jack and Liz were together in that way.

Then when I saw DMC I was not surpirsed, but just amazed that my little "what if Jack/Liz" thought came true. I wasn't surprised because they had it coming ever since the first movie. Now it got me more intrigued, and I just never want the pirates franchise to start. That was after DMC.

It's obvious Elizabeth has liked Will from the very moment they are first together on screen, and then later, when he sees her at her mansion when they are grown up, aelizabeth. 😄

And as I've said, I don't like the chemistry between Jack and Liz at all. I much prefer Will and Elizabeth's chemistry. 😄

Yes I believe COTBP left the majority of the audiences with the curiosity of what if....J/L ended up together. I was ok with the ending, it was a Disney movie what else was expected. But it left me intrigued. Johnny's and Keira's scenes together were amazing and funny. Like I said you can feel that you are living their story

They don't even have a lot of screen time together. How can they possibly have chemistry. But I do hope to see more screen time of W/E in AWE.

I must admit, though i'm obessed with J/L, W/E makes a lot of sense. I think that both ships make so much sense, and thats why its so hard to figure out how it will end. Surreal, what you are saying about W/E is true, and I believe that what J/E shippers are saying is true too. IMO, both ships have so much potential, it's hard to predict which one it'll be. We all have very different opinions, but we are all right. If that makes any sense at all?

Chemistry means when two people just click. There are sparks and they just constantly go at eachother. That's how J/E are

Will and Liz are your typical romance thing.
