DC has cut DS nuts off big time. DS is too damn powerful, that's like Thor beating Odin and you know that is not going to happen.

When did Darkseid break Superman's arm, P-C? Not in Great Darkness, and I don't recall any such thing in JLA 183-185.
Super Powers is out of continuity, of course.
As to "skyfather level" don't forget that even Odin has (in continuity) been captured by a bunch of random space aliens, struggled against Thanos, and been knocked out by an Earthquake.

Not as bad as being afraid of Yuga khan. Atleast Ds has the father son clause as an excuse and he planned his way out of that situation. Thanos is supposed to be a badass, but he gets turned into stone by a friggin ghost.

Superman Batman 25. Mxy and Joker specifically were playing chess with Superman and Batman and Darksied. Non of DS losses count against superman in that book. Mxy even says how he protects those two in all divergent timelines becuz it messes with his homeworld and he has to hear about it if they die.
