I don't see this movie making a lot of money. I can't seem to get interested in a GL movie. Maybe if they used John Stewart.....

I haven't heard any word that is positive, or negative. It opens in a week...and it's too quiet.

But it's concerning to hear the director say several weeks in advance he won't be coming back for a sequel (usually they are diplomatic enough to say generic things until the film is performing), and hearing stories about Warner Bros. throwing another $9 million at the movie to 'fix' the VFX.

Has no one really seen the end result yet? Nothing in advance on RottenTomatoes either.

They have just held screenings yesterday. People have tweeted about good things. One critic from HBO said it rocked. So it's a good sign so far. Things can change, though.

I bought Green Lantern Emerald Knights the other day and imo it was very good, nice job WB/DC. Now can't wait for the movie in threaters!

Honestly though, when I started GL, John was my favourite (even in comics). Hal just ended up attracting me more because he was, to me, a better written character.

Plus, he gets to say "ass" in comics, and straight up make the Guardians look bad.

Plus, he never had his "angry black man" phase.

And then of course Guy came along.

People at my LCS tell me they hate Guy because he's a total ass and douchebag. And then I weep for their souls.

Guy's actually gone through a whole hell out a lot of character development since Rebirth/Recharge, too.
