Maybe something closer to a Kyle Rayner construct is in the works.
It's just that the more comic-focused sites like CBM.com have been getting criticism of the suit since the teaser trailer and not even the latest footage has appeased some people there.
About what they feel is wrong with it, take your pick; wrong mask, no clear contrast of green and black, no gloves/boots, the 'naked' look etc.
It goes on really, with some wanting the 'suit appearing moment' to be CGI then switch to a material suit to complete the illusion. I can't say I agree or disagree with any of these but at least with the motion capture Reynolds would have a better range of motion than any other actor who has played a superhero before.
No tight leather or rubber in this film thank god...
