True. I get you now. Tho I do admit I only fight so hard for DC becuz Marvel seems so overated here. When I first got here, I came assuming everyone thought they were equal and we would have good debates about characters. But I quickly learned that all the battles seemed more company specific instead of character specific. People argue more about the potential for power sets than actual power sets and uses by the character, and character status. I mean Death has no feats, but I for one instant dont think she would lose to like Darkseid or Imperiex. She would be made stronger by the Two if anything. Sometimes this board becomes Feat whorish. They dismiss what is stated on panel when it's convenient and then use what is stated on panel with no feats when it's convenient. I. E. The beyonder did nothing that impressed me, and yet he is only stated as having the power of so many multiverses.

I understand where your coming from, but Mjolnir was granted to Thor just as the PC was granted to Surfer. Surfer would still be considered more powerful than Thor, if Thor had stated "his power cosmic is superior to my enchanted mallet". Mainly because the power cosmic is what makes Surfer, just as Mjolnir makes Thor.

Surfer has a natural durability, strength, and speed advantage.
Most of the GL's ubber fears like creating other JLA members and containing big bangs are mostly SMvFL/PIS.
based on most showing surfer edges the GL's out by a slim margin.
How can they be PIS when the very nature of the rings says that they can do what ever the ring bearer has the will to do? This really leaves the rings open to be as weak or as powerful as the wearers imagination and will.

NO becuz it's already shown that DS is as powerful as ALL the guardians. Each one of whom is a sky father. The Gaurdians didn't want a war with DS. Thanos would beat any GL becuz he is simply too durable. A Hal or Kyle could get a win or two off of thanos. But so can Surfer.

Psychology, if there is just a slight stain of "doubt" your "will" won't be strong enough. Look at DS, a GL facing him, knowing what this Dark God is capable of might "doubt" beating him, and this would lead to his defeat.
Look at SS, I guess (<---my opinion😉) Hal wouldn't "doubt" owning him, he might show respect and be careful but he would be "sure" to win this one, his will is more then enough for this task.

Hal would not doubt, he has held the big bang before, a feat bigger then anything SS has ever done.
Hal and Kyle's energy manipulation feats trump SS by miles.
