Grand Theft Auto IV

How very silly, here we got one game that came earlier then any other games so we could actually buy it without much concern. So I guess there will be no new interesting games until a ton come at the same time in November.

I saw that earlier today, then today when I was at work we got an email about it...yippee.

All reports about the game in demo's stated that alot of graphical detail work had to be done still.

I'm not to worried. It looks like after Christmas, we will still have games to play. Eases this fall a bit.

They're pushing it back to do a double release with Duke Nukem Forever haermm

I'll rather have it completed than be dodgy and glitchy in certain areas. The Halo guys must be laughing their asses off.

reports on website eurogamer.net have said that people are blaming the ps3 for the delays, saying that conversion is difficult because of the sony machines production troubles.

That guy doesn't even work for R*.

He's just speculating, and besides supposedly the game still had a lot of work to be done on it apparently.

They would have released it for 360 anyway if Ps3 was the problem.

they cant release it for 360, because of a contract agreement where sony and microsoft have the game released on the same day. if one version is late so too the other will be. so it is possibly the ps3's fault.

do i mind even tho i have a 360? not really. means i have more time to prepare losing part of my life out to the game😄

then again, it is true, as far as know, they wouldn't release for one earlier than the other.

I don't see what's the problem. As far as I know, the trailers have been running in 360, they looked great, and the gameplay trailers (shown to press only) had been running on 360 hardware too, and as they said, they have some more details to polish. any delay is a welcome one, as long as they release the game as perfect as it can possibly be.

it would be a real shame if the game it's released full of glitches and crappy AI. If they game was already finished, or near completion, they should polish it even more, while waiting for the PS3 port. wouldn't that be great news for 360 owners?

Honestly, this games as for last year, and since before SA was released, was a PS3 exclusive, it wouldn't really matter to them it the game was delayed, but now that MS has drop some moneybags, it's the F*ing end of the world. they joked about PS3 losing exclusives, but now that's there's supposedly a contract agreement that somehow resembles an exclusivity, they get slap in the face, serves them right!

i dunno bout GTA IV being exclusive to PS3 before, cuz of a bunch of GTA titles going to xbox, being one of the top 3 in sales for xbox. gamespot also stated that the delay for gta iv was also cuz of the ps3 conversions btw

If i was Microsoft i would joke about Sony PS3 losing exclusives too, gta, dmc4, ace combat 4...and the mgs4 rumours.
