That is in no way acceptable or tolerable. That is a warning and I had better not see any comments like that again. I don't care who you're talking to or about, it is not excusable.
Last night was the first time an actual problem with the game pissed me off. I was doing a mission later on in the game where you basically have to kill a bunch of people. You are encourage to climb on roofs and snipe people, so I climb up and knock off a few before climbing to another roof. Well once I got up the ladder, I got hammered by SMG fire taking all my armor and pretty much all of my health. One problem, there was nobody there, I WAS GETTING SHOT BY A ****ING INVISIBLE MAN!!!! All you could see was the light from the end of his invisible gun. I ended up failing the mission(was my 4th try) and it pissed me off to where I quit the single player for the night.
i've played through about half of it now and yes, as you would expect, it plays far better than the previous GTA's...it looks far better...but i dont think it has the humour or as good a plot as the previous instalments...the mission are all, for the most part, identical to each other
there doesn't seem to be anything linking each of the people you work for bar a meeting here and there...i was hoping for more innovation in terms of what you can do
i do like the addition of the phone (especially for calling 911 and stealing cop cars) and the most wanted lists and crimes in progress lists are good
but apart from that...i'm almost disappointed in what it doesn't have

Thats why I like GTA and GTA 2 better (mission-wise) than the newer ones, the missions are more random and funny.....I think it was GTA2 that had one where you steal a bus, fill it with people, then drive it to a hotdog factory and watch them all get slaughtered...that was one of my favourites. They should bring those kind of things back.

So I finally got around to trying some multiplayer. And the funniest thing happened while I played it.
I was playing Cops and Crooks, and I was the Boss, the target of all the Police.
I jump into a car, a nice dude jumps in together with me to protect me, we drive along, he takes out a police car like a pro, and we continue to drive on. We get to the big roundabout with the gate in the middle (on the starting island), and I ofc thinks to just run straight through the opening. However I mess up the angle, and hit one of the poles. I myself stayed in the car, but my friend, crashed through the windshield and flew all the way down the slope (we were going south), which is at least 200 meters. He miraculously survived, I picked him up again, and we ran off to the boat and won.
Seeing him fly was definitely one of the funniest momements so far in GTA.
