Infinite Crisis vs. Civil War

i actually missed the start of annihalation, but im trying to catch up, but so far, excellent stuff, really well done...

for me, IC walks all over CW, i loved some of the dialogue, i actually dont like phil jimenez as an artist, and that usually takes alot from a comic for me, but i liked IC, alot...

i loved how Diana killing Max Lord drove a wedge between the big three, i loved both Superman's beating the crap out of each other, and that one line from earth 1 supes that just drains all the anger from the earth 2 one...

superboy's death for me was very well done, and with any big event, there has to be loss in some shape or form, because if there's no sacrifice, then nobody ends up learning anything... i'd never even cared for superboy until i read him in titans in the buildup to IC...

villains united was cool, a very good mini, 'great blazing bags of crap' perfectly captured the moment before getting pounded by solomon grundy...

Superboy Prime , while a little bit of a whiner is still a VERY awesome character.

His brawl with the Titans ect was just frigging bad-ass. But the quintessential thing for me was when the flashes had to literally DRAG him kicking and screaming into the speedforce.

And the little shit comes back, with even more power. WITH A SET OF ARMOR MIMICING THE ANTI-MONITOR NO LESS. 😄 He was emo and a bit of a *****, but he was badass. There's no denying it. The high mark was Earth 2 Superman dying, and of course, Joker killing Alexander. 😛

yeah, i loved that too... shame wally didn't come back though... at least, not properly...

I like how Jonn bitchslapped SPB the second time around.

Civil War would have been better if Iron Man illed Cap. it would have shaken the whole foundation of Marvel. Everyone would have stopped and would have been like

I agree Snoop, and I say that was one of the gutsiest moves ever done on part of DC. Kill the guy who made their company.
That takes big cajones.

Annihilation was better than both.

I'd have to put Annihilation above Civil War as well.
But Crisis still tops it in sheer scope, imo.

I agree. IC is top series. Hell i even think Identity Crisis was better than Civil War. But thats just me.
