Spiderman can't beat Carnage or Venom in the forum, but he should be used to Venom enough by now not to really worry about him, he also cleared Toxin's clock as well. In h2h fight going all out, the Symbiotes win of course. But I don't see Venom beating "his ass at will" in an actual storyline... not to mention Spiderman's often distracted.

Your recollection there is about as accurate as your "version" of his second fight with iron fist. Caliban was getting torn up and sabretooth was bouncing around whatever Cali was throwing out at him... Then Creed smashed a huge rock into Caliban's head and had him on the ropes, Rictor interviened seeing how Creed was going to definitely kill him if he won the fight.. it gave time for caliban to recover and the fight progressed.. then sabes and caliban got interupted by the X-factor when they later found eachother creed had a serious moment of CIS... it was hardly the one sided beatdown you're attempting to imply. pffft.. 🙄

........... And I'm STILL not done naming people creed's taken out...

He tore holocaust apart. Something NUMEROUS people in the aoa universe thought was utterly impossible.
killed multiple super soldiers with more durable skin than the hulk.
Ripped apart a shiva droid with his bare hands.
Destroyed a whole host of N'garai demons. (only ONE N'garai demon was enough to walk through the entire danger room on optimal levels and remain virtually unaffected).
beat the danger room set on optimal levels.
killed like 20 super powered aliens in a bar fight
and toe to toed with superboy in all access without being damaged by the end of the fight whatsoever.

Yeah I forgot about tooth and claw.. though I kinda have a hard time seeing that as a fight considering all the crap that was going on around them.. not to mention the fact that wolverine's claws and skeleton were bone... giving him one hell of a disadvantage vs. his normal admantiumized self...

Though you're right I do remember wolverine being at venom's mercy before the scuffle got interrupted.

I said Spiderman could get into close, because he can. But he doesn't need to. Could you please stop bringing up Wolverine vs. Spiderman in every Spiderman debate, it sidetracks it? (Sorry if I sound a bit rude, it's not my intention, but I have to go).

He made a deal with Toxin. He wanted to see his wife and child as he left his home when he bonded with the symbiote. So the Symbiote disguised him. In exchange the symbiote was allowed to do what he wanted for a few hours (the host blacked out). He didn't know right from wrong and stole a television set (Spiderman was coaching him in doing the right thing, it's alot like his own story).

I like that series alot, I'll have to go read the next issue.
