Its all about the context.
In Odin's battle with Forsung or Set, it was specifically stated that galaxies/worlds/suns were destroyed.
In the battle that I'm talking about, what we have is Mr. Miracles metaphorically interpretation of the great battle between Apokolips and New Genesis. By that I mean, it didn't seem that this was a literal event, but rather a sort of personification of the great war that has raged between the two -- and I don't think there can be any doubt that MANY planets, solar systems, galaxies and perhaps even realities (Rock of Ages) have been destroyed in their ongoing war. But not by the pure power of Darkseid himself, but rather the forces of Apokolips (perhaps in conjunction with his own).
Thats why I believe it to be so.

In the Odin battles, its not just stuff like that, but specifically and plainly saying "A dead galaxy explodes".
You see the difference, especially considering not that much damage was done to Apokolips itself during the Orion/Darkseid fight?

Anti-Life equation is just one of many equations tossed about by the Old Gods. The most powerful, arguably, but nothing else. This was stated in the Forever People series, as I recall.
Omega Beams' opposite are the Alpha Bullets. THe Astro Force is a thing of opposites itself...it shouldn't HAVE an opposite.

it was this bit that always made me think the anti-life was the opposite of the source . . .
but i don't think it's ever been confirmed beyond that. the astroforce is still a bit of a puzzle to me, though since it has its origins in the source, i can't imagine anything being beyond it (ie, astroforce>OE) -- IF it is ever utilized to its potential, which, from what i've read, orion has yet to do. i've not read all the volumes of fourth world though, so i may be missing some pieces.
