Well, my thought is actually that the wedding takes place during that sequence, if it happens. I think he asks her to marry him again, and I believe her response of: "this isn't the best time" is in response to his suggesting they get married then and there. The kiss, if you're a party to the theory would then be the "kiss the bride" moment.

Then he would stab the heart, take over the dutchman, and lead the pirates to victory against Beckett. Apparently, after the battle, Will leads the souls of the dead back to the underworld.

yes this is the way I had heard things would go. I sort of like it. Wedding in the midst of battle? Actually, that would be pretty cool. No more white dresses or Will in a tablecloth outfit, at least

i was just re-reading the 36 pager... and i was caught by the funniest line... when Jack is deciding who can come with him on the Pearl in the locker after he says that "4 of you tried to kill me in the past..." and he says, "Gibbs, you can come. Marty. Cotton, all right. And Cotton's parrot, I'm a little iffy, but all right, you're a team --"
Hahahaha... cotton's parrot... im a little iffy... thats gonna be a fun one. 🙂

here's a line about Davy Jones to clear up the future captaining job of the FD:

TIA DALMA
(looks out to sea)
They should be in the care of Davy Jones. That was the duty he was charged with by the goddess Calypso: to ferry those who died at sea to the other side. And every ten years, he could come ashore, to be with she who loved him truly. But he has become a monster.

RAGETTI
He wasn't always all tentacle-y?

TIA DALMA
No, he was a man, once. Poor, unfortunate souls...now they must find their own way.

^^ Being the captain of the Dutchman might be a nice job, as long as you aren't corrupt. 😄

yeah... i mean, sort of a depressing job, but still, fulfilling in a way, right? plus, immortal, sailing the seas, enjoying that freedom, that wouldn't be too bad. the only bad part is only getting to see your love every 10 years--- unless she's immortal, too... otherwise you'd come back and she'd be getting old and wrinkly. lol.

If you love someone, would it matter if they get old and wrinkly? Not really. 😄 I think the worst part would be if you were parted by death from your love, although the easiest solution would be to take your love on the Dutchman and chuck her into the sea, wait until she's nearly dead and make her part of your crew. Problem solved!! 😄

I really need to get more sleep...

erm... but then she would be fish faced!!!! can you imagine Liz with barnacles and star-fish growing out of her???? gross!!! lol.

i guess we should be prepared then...cuz I've heard that rumor before..that Liz' sacrifices herself to the sea...and joins her love at sea....Poor Jack...well, I hope he is happy with whatever happens...who knows, maybe jack will miss lizzie and will so much he joins them..and that's why we see that Fish Fash statue thingy of Jack..Will barnaclizes him so he can keep away from lizzie, still not trusting them to be around each other....

Gosh, I am just rambling.
To be honest, i really don't know what to think..we've all heard it's going to be a kick-ass ending. But so far, none of the rumored endings I've been hearing about sound kick=ass to me...but they do sound very bittersweet..which is the other discription. Gosh I need a break from all this, but like a bad drug/habit...I can't seem to stay away..I keep coming back for more and driving myself more and more insane...

no i dont think lizzie sacrifices herself to the sea in terms of actually dying... i think she may choose to stay with will on the dutchman/ be immortal with him if Will ends up being the captain permanently, but i dont think she just ends, ya know?
i can just imagine, though, if she did something like that, and Jack and Will are both going to save her, and Will is like "back off, she's my wife!" and Jack is like "finders keepers! she killed me once so i automatically am allowed to do whatever I want with her." and they go off arguing and stuff... LOL... oh gee...

Well, no. After Will would stab the heart the curse would be lifted because he's not corrupt. So if Elizabeth were a part of the crew, she wouldn't necessarily be fish faced.

oh true. good point, Savvy. So why is Jack fish faced? That must be Davy's doing, then, huh?

Well, that's what I'm trying to figure out. I heard another rumor that doesn't necessarily fit, but might explain the fish faced picture.

Someone said that there is more to the sword fighting scene than meets the eye. They claim that Jack actually wounded by Davy and that he dies yet again during the battle, which might mean that Jack makes a deal with Jones again, and becomes Fish Faced.

But, the deal might in fact be reversed by Will, if he were to say, stab the heart.

ohhhh... gee... yes that's true, could be possible... though that seems like its all getting really complicated.

though that would give Will one more reason to stab the heart and become captain, and would even make him into more of a hero.

but can everyone (audiences i mean) live through Jack dying AGAIN??? or nearly dying???

Well, I was thinking about it, and I think they could probably live through it. I actually don't think it's a horrible idea; remember how we all felt when Jack was stabbed in the first film. I remember gasping in the theater. I've always thought that if the writers really wanted to resolve the triangle, they ought to have saved what they did with the end of DMC for AWE.

And people would never expect Jack to come so close to dying AGAIN.

that's true... and honestly, that would make a hasty marriage and heart stabbing make a lot more sense to most audiences... if you know what i mean.

but now we've got rumours of deathly wounds on nearly all of our main characters--- but I'm assuming they wouldn't push things that far in to overkill... right?

Plus, T and T are famous for having anywhere from 2-4 endings--- as in film 1, we had the big battle and the removal of the curse as the climax, and then a whole extra scene with its own climax, and then a fairly detailed denouement... same with film 2. i'd say the kiss and Jack's death were the climax and then we still had another Beckett scene and the Tia scene...

point being, there may be multiple climaxes towards the end, making it possible for us to fear for everyone's lives at some point. oh great. more heart palpitations on the way!

I'm skeptical of Elizabeth succeeding in sacrificing herself to calypso. In fact, I would wager that she probably doesn't. If the fountain of youth rumor is true, then I would imagine that she didn't succeed, and that Jack decides to retrieve it for her so that she can be immortal with Will.

One of my friends has another theory, but at the risk of having it picked apart, I'll refrain.

please tell. 🙂 pretty please.
