Sadly I think you're right about Elizabeth being very important to Jack and it bugs me. I feel so very sorry for him to be unrequited in love, especially when she is acting the way she does. I'll be honest, I really do hate Elizabeth right now, after seeing her arrogant attitude in the trailer I was ready to strangle her. I just hope Jack won't turn into a sap because of her.

Ericadawn; I agree Jack wouldn't have killed someone he loved or cared about. I think that is one of the differences between Jack and Elizabeth.
Jack doesn't kill unless it's necessary, he rather talk himself out of things. Elizabeth on the other hand is more ruthless....no i can't forgive her for doing what she did to Jack, I've tried and I can't and I wish jack wouldn't forgive her either. She doesn't deserve the forgiveness or redemption. She has to learn that you can't treat people the way she does and get away with it, she can't just pout a bit and bather her eyelashes and all will be alright again. She has to face the consequences... In that respect she is still a naive girl.

Yep, and I hope that we'll see that especially after the end of DMC where it seemed that perhaps she had finally realized the consequences of what she'd done...the budget script hadn't given me much hope after the hypocritical badgering of James, but the newer script has that moment where she's sick of all pirates so maybe...maybe she's finally growing up.

One can only hope. It's actually very strange, I'm waiting for a movie,where I don't like 2 of the 3 main characters. My love for JD and Jack Sparrow knows no limits it seems LOL.

BTW about the whole "accepting James' proposal? She's always that selfish! I mean he loved her. seriousely "I was rooting for him". NE way better than WE. ok I won't get into the whole ships thing.

What I mean is that not only did she hurt Jack, James and Will but she risked other ppl's lives doing so. I thing she's the biggest pirate of them all.

I believe TnT have said Elizabeth *is* the biggest pirate of them all. I'm somewhat inclined to believe Jack is less of a "true" pirate than the others, judging by his actions and general behaviour. No, he is not an angel, but he is not as ruthless as Barbossa, Elizabeth or Davy Jones.
Barbossa said so himself in P1, it was Jack's altrustic nature which made him loose the Pearl. Maybe, since Jack shoots his good self in the Locker, he'll turn more pirate-like, darker, in his own Jack-ish way...

That's wrong. Remove Ragetti because he supported and participated in the mutiny of Jack. But it was Barbossa who commited to Mutny.

I say it was Ragetti, Pintel, Barbossa and Liz (who succeed)....Ragetti and Pintel cause they were a part of it!!!

Chiki, I asked this a long time ago! It's a valid question, I guess. Once again, the discrepancy lies in whether we include Will or not.

Will: Technically has tried to kill him twice, once in the blacksmith's shop (is it called a shop?) and again on the Isla de Cruces. He even paused to see whether he or Norrington was going to do the honors.

Tia: She must have tried to kill him in the past, or maybe Jack is referring to the whole hand Tia played in giving him the compass, telling him where the Dutchman was, and sending a gaggle of Jack-killers to go bring him back. Any thoughts there?

Barbossa: Uh, mutiny and then marooning him....twice!

Liz: Uh, go back and watch DMC.

ya but Will saved him at the end of COTBP....and on Isla Cruces....it was Norrington who said excuse while i kill the man who ruined my life....and will said Be my guest....but Will wasn't gonna kill him....Pintel and Ragetti where there when they left Jack to die on the Island....thats like practically killing him!!!

Even though Will's made up for it, he has tried to kill Jack. I don't think when Jack says that line that he's saying that each and every one of them is a heartless killer (except maybe one) but that he can't trust any of them, and if the amount of times Will has helped him equal the amount of times Will has tried to kill him, Jack probably doesn't know if he can depend on Will at that point. I don't think we should take Jack 100% literally there.

Ok, ok, let's get this back on track. Sorry for the side trip, but I wasn't feeling very pleased with Elizabeth's behavior in AWE. Though, from a certain perspective, Jack isn't much better. But, let's get back to what this thread is really about SPOILERS and trying to piece together in the best way that we can, the story of AWE.

So I believe we left off trying to create what a Willabeth ending would look like.

I believe he's referring to the four who are closest to him. Elizabeth...well, we all know why. Will has tried to kill him on more than one occassion, I would argue. He's betrayed Jack by hitting him over the head with an oar, leaving him at the mercy of Barbossa and his crew in the first film. He threatens to kill Jack in DMC after Jack refuses to allow him to stab the heart. He says: "I keep the promises I make Jack. I intend to free my father, I hope you're there to see it." Barbossa has attempted to kill him more than once; he's marrooned him on an island twice and has stabbed him with the intent of killing him.
Tia Dalma cannot be trusted. I'm not sure where the notion came about that she's a guide or a wise leader. She may be, but she's not trustworthy. Jack says as much in DMC when he worries that she might stab him in the front, rather than in the back. Also, somewhere in the leaked script he taunts her about trying to kill him, and she says: Don't tell me you didn't enjoy it."

That's my take on who's tried to kill him. I don't believe it was Ragetti or Pintel because while they're capable of a lot, they don't have the strength of mind to carry out the plan.
