Good point! I forgot that Governor Swann had taken extreme caution so that Elizabeth's interest in pirates wouldn't be encouraged. You're right, none of the parents wanted their children to become Pirates.
I think Jack's story is probably similar. I'm fairly certain that when we find out about his early life, it will resemble Will's. The rumor is that Jack never wanted to become a pirate.
Also, with the fathers, two of the three make large sacrifices for their children. Swann sacrifices his life, as does Bootstrap though from all appearances, I believe that though the fathers never wanted their children to follow in the pirate footsteps, they admire their children for choosing that path. Swann tells Elizabeth as much before he passes into World's End. I imagine the same will be said of Bootstrap. It will be interesting to see what Teague's role in the story will be. I think like all parents, he'll be there to offer Jack guidance, since it seems that around the time of the Betheren Council, Jack's strayed from the better path.
