Is English your second language? Or do you just not read books? It does not say bit by bit because that would be
terrible writing. It would make it look like the writer thinks the readers are idiots who need the dynamics torn apart so it can be spelled out for them.
For as brilliant as you think that nonsense is, goes the opposite way. It does not state she absorbs the entire storm before sending it into the upper atmosphere.
You're trying to make the "drawing it into herslef" a gradual, bit by bit process. It WAS NOT.
You're assuming that the drawing and channeling process took her all the way till dawn, therefore it MUST have been bit by bit.
It was the ENTIRE three-fold process that took time, not just the channeling.--becoming one with it, drawing and channeling, then difussion--Threefold
If you notice it is in three different caption balloons as well. The drawing and channeling is in th SAME one together.
Honestly... Are you that dense? The two actions are in the same box just further proves that they are occurring at the same time. It describes her working exactly like a funnel. Combined with the the fact that both sections are written in present tense means they are both occurring simultaneously.
The scan gave no indication of the AMOUNT of the storm she was drawing and channeling into herself. It just said she absorded it(drew it into herself).
This is true. There's no way of telling what rate she was processing the system's energy.
Infact, before any channeling or drawing happend, she become ONE with the ENTIRE THING. That right there should give you some indication.
I never thought I'd have to explain this kind of stuff... That's an expression, like putting your blood, sweat, and tears into something. It describes her ability to completely immerse her focus into the storm and mentally feel out every aspect of it. If she was literally connected to it like an extension of her body she could of just shut it down right there without needing to pipe it through her body.
When a team has really great teamwork they "play as one", with variations depending on the local dialect.
Given what we know, she was channeling, drawing, and diffusing power equivalent to several Hydrogen Bombs. That takes time, power, and concentration , especially for someone like Storm who, once again, doesn't run roughshod over the elements she controls.
That's why she did it "gently at first".
I think you water skied over what I was talking about on this part. But all that scan proves is she can't control the total energy of a storm all at once. At least not that one.
