I know what you're saying. I think Thor would beat Sentry. Actually I think anyone in the High Herald bracket would beat Sentry. I do see both sides of this argument.

I would rather have a smaller Elite and bigger Mid-Herald then the other way around.

Ha, and the runner hasn't done anything in years. And look where he is. I say we go as far back as ten years on any given character that doesn't have a regular book. Becuz some characters wont' have enough appearances high or low to balance out if all we are remebering is some low stuff. I certainly still remember Orion blasting the shit out of the star conqueror.

i know i agree, but I think once the elite category is made, people are going to assume they should move some of the mids up, and I know if I see some people who i think CA beat moved up, then i'd be in the mist of that. So in conclusion, no new categories, please

Anyways my case against Sentry moving up is this. He has had some good showings yes but not enough outstanding ones yet. Eventually he will pan out like most characters do and then we'll see just how high Marvel wants to keep him.

And still even his good showing haven't impressed me enough to say he gets a solid majority over Gladiator and Beta Ray Bill in power.

So I think it would be better to go on the side of caution with him and keep him mid-Herald for now.

I don't mean ACTUALLY retcon....

Just that the new Thor stories would totally ignore that Ragnarok happened. Odin'd be back with little to no explanation. Loki'd still be pestering the shit out of Thor, etc.

could we all agree on bumping genis and terrax down a notch, then? and i agree newjak...that's why i proposed the "elite" class. it'll take a tough period of restructuring, but once that's done, i think the system will work much better in the long run.
