I saw a discrepancy in the reasoning against Jenny. Him losing his powers on M-Day was not a consequence of M-Day itself, but of his own subconscious. He couldn't be coaxed out of human form until Emma Frost pushed him. It's evidence of an inferior control over his powers, relatively speaking compared to Jenny Sparks anyway.
An anecdote as an entire argument. How are we talking about Iceman? And how does it have anything to do with Jenny? And how does anything involving M-Day count as a point against him? Citing Iceman doesn't justify moving someone up an entire tier. If you think Iceman is poorly placed, you can bring him up at some point as well for discussion.Besides, ultimatums like the last line (with the underline for emphasis) just make you sound childish.
As it is, I'm not sure how this became such an issue. We have 3 characters being voted upon before any more can be discussed. Once a spot becomes available, feel free to petition for Jenny and we can put it to a vote.
The underline was to point out what my overall suggestion was, so it didn't get lost in the paragraphs of text. Validus subsequently joked about the ultimatum. I did not insert any "childish ultimatum" subtext into my post. We're all just discussing comics here, doesn't need to get more childish than that. Next time, I'll leave the underline out when I make the suggestion.
How do you find out when spots become available for discussion?

But if there aren't spots available now, I'll save those for another time.
Engineer would crush her, btw. She can manipulate electricity as well, and has a bevy of siphoning, absorption, and trapping options to take her down. But again, we're not talking about individual matchups. Engineer can make duplicates, survive nukes, create nanotechnology or building-sized constructs, and anything that her considerable genius can assimilate and devise (the list is beyond impressive). Jenny's electricity. I find it hard to see how the former's massive power and versatility advantages don't place her on a higher tier than a one-trick pony like Jenny.
