Try telling me he's more versatile than, say, Thor, who might not be any better in a pure brawl (or he might) but is far more useful is different situations.

Orion has magnetism that he also has used to create force shields.

Orion has cosmic senses. When he was blind, he know things that he shouldn't have just by sensing them happening.

The astro force can destroy stuff at the sub atomic level. Can superman's heat vison do that?

So This guy with all these powers, who's blast is better than everyone on the top herald list except Thor, who is as strong as the strongest person on the list, Superman, and has all these crazy energy powers is mid herald?

I'm amazed as to why people think Supes of all is more versatile than Orion.

And Supes has prodigious levels of speed. Supes has extremely fine control over the way his HV works. Supes has used his speed to become temporarily intangible. He has altered weather patterns via clever use of his powers. His senses range far beyond simple vision enhancement, all of his senses are enhanced and protected.

They're equal in raw power out-put, that's pretty much it.

Then there's the powers that weren't mentioned.

Super intelligence, freeze breath, super-photographic memory, T-vo

That's arguable and not an argument in favor of versatility.

Vote for Orion.

If Superman were to make a short list of people he'd never want to fight all-out, Orion would be near the top of that list. It's not Superman's versatility that puts him in high-herald status. It's his popularity and prevalence. If versatility was the main determinant, Martian Manhunter and Flash ought to be High Herald as well. Orion's up to snuff.
