The Guardians have bin paperweight, over hyped powered midgets for a long time. Blackest Night is just the culmination of how much they fail, as cosmic enforcers.
Really, Tyrant has more of a case of staying the list then the midgets. I don’t even care, if you vote for or against them. They still suck, they will continue to suck, and by Odin’s whiskers I hope they get slow and painful deaths. facepalm

I'd be for moving the Guardians to trans, were it up for debate...which it apparently isn't due to the dictator-like persona that is Digi...uhuh
Damn straight.
Seriously though, a lot of people want to make judgments too soon after only a feat or two. I've learned from experience that it's better to wait a long time before making a ruling. Otherwise, we've had people jumping all over the place.
There's no rush with the list, and when considering the totality of a character's showings, I would hope that patience would lead to more rounded decisions anyway, rather than "what happened last 3-4 appearances?"

Yet you did make that call on DP Tyrant who also had very limited appearance. So, by the same token shouldn't he be moved off? Nevermind the fact, that during his small appearances he pwd.. high, mid and low heralds, a fellow trans and a abstract. Yet that was still only good enough for Trans even though by your own admission you don't like putting people in tiers for only short appearances.

How is Tyrant in the same conversation with the Guardians? It's a completely different matter. He hasn't had new showings in years, so we can form a good opinion of him. With the Guardians I'm talking about an established character with a few new showings that indicate a new power level, and rushing to judgment too soon.
But yes, if a person has only been in 1-2 comics, they aren't allowed in. I think we have a 10-comic unofficial limit. But Tyrant was around long enough to form a general idea of his power, and a bunch of people voted. I agree that it would be nice to see more of him to form a more decisive opinion of him, but it's not like it's impossible right now.
Besides, you're kinda shooting yourself in the foot. You wrote up a veritable short story on why you thought Tyrant was at {insert X} power level. If you were actually of the opinion that he hadn't had enough appearances to warrant him being on the list, you would have said that instead of arguing vehemently for a change in position. As it is, it looks like you're just trying to trap my logic by invoking a similarity, even though we have two wildly different cases.

Neither here nor there, I think Tyrant's had exactly ten appearances. Five in SS, four in Cosmic Powers, and one in Cosmic Powers Unlimited.😄
I did say unofficial rule.
😉
But that's how info is spread, since I can't know everything. But Kurupt's post was clearly looking for a loophole of some sort. He may be right, but if he had actually wanted Tyrant off the list for lack of appearances, his initial post on Tyrant would have looked a a lot different.
If this can be confirmed, it might not be a bad idea to remove him on these grounds, but not because he was voted off, which he wasn't.

A lot of people in there have few appearances. Let's keep it like it is.

I thought you actually wanted to vote Id, this looks more like a hate-rant.Anyways, where would Atom-Eve place on the list? High Meta maybe?
I do, I am clearly for moving them to trans.
I mean what have they done, to deserve to be off the list? As big of GL fanboy that I am, I would like to believe in this cosmic might. I cant vouch for them.
Incompedent. Arrogant. Incredibly short-term memory. Outright stupidity at times.
But they're still frigging powerful. Much as I hate the little blue bastards, I'm not downgrading the little shits yet. The only two I don't hate are Ganthey and Sayd. At least they had the guts to call bullshit on purging the prophecy. Scar's getting creepier by the issue..........fear
