What does "nappy headed hos" and calling them ugly and all of that have to do with a warped sense of humor? It wasn't just the nappy hos comment. He kept calling them out of line crap and calls them "wannabes" vs. the something (champion synonym). That was not the only thing he said. You are missing the context.

what about howerd stern, he calls black people worse terms than imus ever has, and wasnt refering to only a certain demographic of the black society. why is it okay when he does it...Is it because he immediately cleans up after himself by saying oh the black people know im just a fellow brother speakin observations. ?

i read what he said, it's no big deal, he makes a lot of comments, like i said, i already heard him and i know what he's about, it makes certain people laugh, they like that kind of stuff, politicians wouldn't be coming on his show if people didn't like his way of thinking, he has a particular way that is crude yet funny to some...the issue about the basketball players is not even the sum of what he talks about, and his audience loves him. i don't watch his show b/c that's not my kind of humor, but his kind of joking around is very much the same way blacks talk about each other, so it's really silly to me, to get people emotional over something they do themselves.
same thing with howard stern, that way of talking isn't funny to me, but if someone told me that howard made a black comment, it wouldn't surprise me at all, he makes lots of comments, about everybody.
