how can a black person "try" to act white if they are around whites all the time, or raised by a white parent, or have majority white friends? kinda silly, don't you think. i knew of people in general, that when they were around another person for a long while, they started to sound just like them, and those are just friends who happen to be closer and i've noticed the change in accent and speed and sometimes, tone...i actually find your statement a bit racist, but racism is such a variable, it really doesn't matter b/c it's relative, what one person sees as racist, such as the comment made by Imus, someone else may not see it that way.
