But god is transcending. That is the perfect loop hole. You see, god gets his cake and gets to eat it too. The bible is the first Marvel comic, and god is the big dark superhero. 😂

Hypothetically speaking let's say you have an 18 yr old son. Now, your adult son runs out murders someone then comes back home as if nothing happened. Who do you think is responsible for that crime, you the father or your son?

Why would you be responsible for your son's actions? That makes no sense. Besides, you are not God so the analogy doesn't work any way.
Science and God are compatible. My theory is that God may have intended for creation i.e. matter, the laws of the universe, and all other phenonmena to evince His existence in lieu of His apparent absence. It is as though God left us clues that point to His existence.
I know what you mean; however, it is understood that the Creator of law should transcend the law created. There are situations where God's law applies and when it does not. Case in point: The law of cause and effect is applicable to all things that exist in the universe (including the universe). But the law of cause and effect does not apply to God Himself because He has always existed. So, all things material have a beginning. Also, all creatures have a beginning, including all of the creatures that exist in the spirit realm or world (such as angels).
Does this compute?
How about "THE ALL"....Nothing can exist without it, nor without it, but it is not comprehensible, so why try. It is NOT A GOD...Yet the sole governing source of all. It can be a paradox.
Mans view of it unlike some ancient texts from Egypt and Greece, and the Gnostic's understood this SECRET Meaning/Princapal/law...Theology is mans way of trying to understand it, and miss use it also. It cannot be understood from our worm like state.....The Bible calls it "worm"...."lowly"
And NO, this is NOT "New Age" teachings.

88 of the universe is made up of dark matter, which is the only substance that doesnt give off light. so therefore space is something
Originally posted by Quark_666The theory of dark matter doesn't disprove empty space, if that's what you are trying to imply. I can back this up but I'm hoping you'll just take my word for it.
Empty space devoid of matter (even devoid of light) exists until proven otherwise.

I suppose you can bake a cake without an oven, but it makes it a lot more difficult.
"Do you subscribe to your religion for religion sake?"
I subscribe to my religion because it works in my life. I have tried Christianity, and it does not work. All the really cool things about Christianity, can be found in Buddhism, but without all the negativity.
"Why have a religion?"
People who have a religion live longer and happier lives. That works with any religion.
"Aren't you better without one?"
No. We are social animals and community is a very important part of spirituality.
"Can't you do or be all that you can do or become without you religion?"
No. I need the teachings of my elders to realize my enlightenment. I am that stubborn.

You can always buy a cake.

What do you mean by "it works" in your life?
"Why have a religion?"

Not necessarily. There are many happy atheists who have lived long lives. This sounds more like opinion than fact anyway.

Why not just go join a country club or some other organization?

What kind of enlightenment?

LOLOLOL ! ! ! 1 1 1
Please do provide example of things that exist but has never been credibly proven. Promise i wont laugh (Santa Claus, unicorns, minotaurs, the philosopher stone, oh my! 😂 ).
What youre asking, "To believe in something that doesnt exist", is RETARDATION. It runs contrary to logical procedures. ILLOGICAL paradigm shifts like what youre asking are NOT valid options/perspectives and are NOT worth considering.
I am trained to use logic and reason in putting my point across.
The problem is your are blinded by your faith to believe in something that doesnt EXIST. Youve been raised and conditioned all throughout your life to believe in something that doesnt EXIST. How pathetic.
And before i forgot, using the Bible as proof of God's existence is another example of circular argument.

God, angels, Heaven, Hell, the cure for cancer and A.I.D.S., miracles, sin, eternal life. These are just some things that exist that have never been proven empirically.
I am not asking you to believe in something that does not exist. I am challenging you to believe in Someone that you cannot see.
