Can you handle the Truth?

True, but just to specify...nothing is genuinely provable. There's always a margin of error that we don't often worry about.

Im well aware of that.

What does that mean anyway?

It goes like this:
JIA: The problem is that you are trained to believe only what you can see.

Me: I am trained to use logic and reason in putting my point across.

Does that mean you have no confidence in the value of faith? I'm not defending JIA, I'm just specifying that faith in general is an essential part of life. I can't even tell whether you just attacked faith or not. I am, again, just specifying. 😄

I value faith depending on how you define it.

Faith as in religious faith=no value

Faith as in trust on someone (like your wife or yourself) or something (like the police or 9-ball-playing skills etc.) =highly valued

I have to say I feel sorry for you, templares. As great as loved ones and one's self can be, they all fall short. You say you have faith in yourself. That's a good thing. I too have faith in myself. But you, like everyone else, are a flawed creature. One day, you will not be able to do something. You won't know something, or will forget something, or something you want to do will be out of your power. You can also just be wrong.

God is perfect and looks out specifically for you. There will come a time when no one will be able to help you with something and you'll need a miracle. God is the only one capable of doing whatever you need him to do. Sometimes he will say no to a prayer, but it doesn't mean there isn't an opportunity in the works. When a door closes, somewhere God opens a window, but you have to look for it.

Just keep that in mind. As much as your wife may love you, there are limits to what she can do.

You are projecting your beliefs onto other people. Not only is templares flawed and sometimes wrong, but so are you. Your beliefs works for you, but they maybe be disastrous for someone else.

this is a non falsifiable and thusly fallacious statement.

Essentially, if nothing happens, its God, or if anything happens, its God.
