JIA: The problem is that you are trained to believe only what you can see.Me: I am trained to use logic and reason in putting my point across.
I value faith depending on how you define it.
Faith as in religious faith=no value
Faith as in trust on someone (like your wife or yourself) or something (like the police or 9-ball-playing skills etc.) =highly valued
Prove that "religious faith" has no value.
Again, you trust your wife, but I trust God. If you can have trust in a fallible, imperfect, very limited human being what is so hard about having faith in God, Who is all-powerful, perfect, and not limited (except in terms of righteousness and holiness of course, and to some extent the free will He permits us to exercise)? Besides, wives fail, police fail, and so do you and I (at times).
But God has never failed.

Did a god tell you he's never failed?

I dont have a wife yet but i have faith (ie. trust/confidence) on fallible and imperfect beings like myself, my loved ones and the police whose very EXISTENCE i dont doubt. I dont have faith (ie. belief in a higher being) on an imaginary being with unfounded claims of being "all-powerful", "perfect", "has never failed" or whatever silly hyperbole you could think of attaching to it.
Im still waiting for a non-circular argument for your god's existence.

If you say God is perfect and can not fail then that would just prove the point that Satan was created by God and it was in his plan to unleash evil unto the world of man.

It would still be 5 billion believers in some higher power vs. atheists. Does that mean then, by that kind of reasoning, atheists are dumb?

Walk outside and look up. Do you see that large star in the heavens called the sun? How do you think that it got there? Where did the laws that keep it from falling originate? Why is it just the right distance to heat the earth and sustain all life yet not too far to freeze the planet's organisms? Nothing just happens. All of life (even in nature) proves that everything is the result of a cause. No human being has the capacity to create a sun let alone the forces that keep it the precise distance from the earth to support all life.
Explain to me where the sun originated without using non-provable, non-verifiable, non-substantiating, and non-observable theories that violate the law of cause and effect. All matter/energy obeys the laws of cause and effect; hence, there is no intelligent reason to assert that the sun just came about by accident, randomly. Furthermore, to claim that something has occurred (such as the big bang) you must first explain what caused it. The argument that the universe is the product of an endless cycle of big bangs and collapses contradicts established research. The universe has been proven (at least as empirically as possible) to have had a beginning this explodes the theory that the universe is eternal, and precludes that the universe is the product of a series of big crunches). Moreover, the universe has been shown to be expanding at the same rate that it came into existence (this proves that the universe had a beginning and thus is not eternal).
Ignorance is bliss.........I've come to that conclusion. 🙁
Ignorant people = ignorant lobby groups and ignorant government (though many are NOT really ignorant, they just play the religious card to sway the ignorant. It's a damn game of swaying the ignorant.
The word of the day IS ignorant. ✅
Ignorant people get NO COOKIE!

Your disobedience does not make your parents a failure does it? It makes you a failure. If you decide to go out and kill someone then you are the one that will answer for that crime not your parents. You are the culprit in that scenario. Now, if your parents murdered people and taught you to do the same then you could argue that your parents contributed to your delinquency and behavior greatly.

Have you ever rebelled against your parents? Have you ever rebelled against an established order or authority (even once)? Question: whose fault was it that you rebelled? Was it your parents fault or was it your fault? Angels do have free will, they are not automatons. Robots do what they are programmed to do. The very fact that lucifer was able to rebel explodes your claim that angels do not have a free will. The devil had to have a free will in order to rebel because if he did not then he could not have rebelled against God, his creator.
