Then why are there other religions? The answer is simple: humans make religions to order their societies. Christianity is no different then any other religion. They are as equally right and equally wrong as any religion on the face of the Earth.

Those who know Jesus understand that our relationship with Jesus is not a religion. However, there are religions because humanity has an inner knowing (apparently planted by God) that God exists. It does not matter what part of the world a person lives on, there is an innate credence in the existence of God and the spirit world. There is no culture on the planet that does not worship a god. They may not all worship the God of the Bible, but they do worship a god of some sort. My question is why? Why is there this universal, world-wide "God-concept?" I believe that God (the true God) created in every person a void that the only He can fill. We all have this void. We will never experience true divine peace (in our hearts) until we acknowledge that God exists and that He sent His Son to die for our sins. If you have not done this then you do not have the peace that God gives, in your heart. You can't figure out why you are so miserable, suicidal, and joy-less. It is because you do not know or have the love of God in your heart. That love is shed abroad in your heart by the Holy Spirit once you become born-again. You become born again the moment you confess that Jesus Christ is Lord of your life, that you repent of all of your sins, and that you need Jesus to save you from your sins. The moment that you pray this you will be saved. God will instantly take up residence in your heart and life. God will pour His love and peace into your heart and life.

I suppose it would be anything that gets in the way of worship............. :

But this is not so.............WHAT IS WORSHIP?

Holding God in high reverence through your words and actions. Showing your high regard for God through a life of holiness. Honoring God in various ways that show that you love Him, need Him, and live to please Him in all that you do.

Here's an interesting question...

"Do not put other gods before me"...Is that gods? Is that anything that takes the place of god? Is it your time with god? If so, how much time and what is that? Is it your TV? Your spending? Where do you draw the line?

Yes it is "gods." It could include anything that is worshipped or put before God, but you must draw the line because only you know where that line is (do you know what I mean?).

Or is the bible saying that all gods are real? Zeus would like that...

God knows that He is the only true, living God, but there are other gods that are worshipped as gods.

There is no way around it. Faith pleases God.

I have faith in science And with that the new SCIENCE..........and with that my beliefs.............

Can science save you from your sins? Will science be there when you stand before God to give account for your life? Hell is full of people who put their faith in science instead of in the Lamb of God (i.e. Jesus Christ), Who takes away the sin of the world.

It's mans word........only a bit of it is inspired...

Can you give your resources?

How do you know what is given by inspiration of God and what is not? I believe that all Scripture is God-breathed (i.e. given by inspiration of God).

Then the god of the bible is not the only god?

The God of the Bible is the only living and true God Who created the universe and all life. He is eternal and has always existed. All other gods are false, non-living, untrue gods that are worshipped as god. But these false gods had a beginning. The God of the Scriptures does not have a beginning or end according to the Bible.

Which could also be translated to "Ignorance pleases god."

That is exactly what every religion that worships a god would say. I see not new or compelling in you belief.

God says in a number of places in His Word that He does not want His people to be ignorant or that His people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge. So, it could not be translated that way.

I don't understand your last statement.

But they don't say that there is only one Way to God--as believers in the Bible do.

I don't know every religion in the world, but I would guess, off the top of my head, that Islam would claim that there is only one way to their god.

That is only if the knowledge does not contradict what is said in the Bible.
