Neanderthals were more primitive than Modern Man (Cro Magnon in Europe) in certain aspects, like tool making, but not all and in varying degrees.
They were just as intelligent and had brains slightly larger overall, they just functioned differently when it came in intuition, problem solving, artistic ability etc. Their brain make-up along with their physical make-up suited them perfectly for their environment, ie ice age Europe.
They at times lived in caves, just as Modern Man did, so not sure that's a negative, as caves provide great protection from the elements.

God does not hold you accountable for what you do not know. Every person has a conscience that guides them in terms of right and wrong. So just because someone may not know about Jesus they would still be guilty of sin because their conscience or heart would condemn them of wrong.
But how God will handle these situations is for Him to decide. One thing is for sure: God is just and merciful that we can rest assured of.

But the Bible clearly says that Jesus said, 'the only way to the father is through me, whomever believeth in me shall have ever lasting life'. So how do you reconcile that? It either is as the Bible says, or it isn't.
BTW, I didn't quote the Bible/Jesus in verbatim and I don't feel like looking up the passage, but I'm sure you know the one.

God can only hold you accountable for what you know, not what you don't know. For instance, God could hold Adam responsible for eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil because he was forbidden to eat from it. If God had not forbidden Adam from eating from the tree, and Adam did eat from the tree, Adam would not have suffered the consequences of his actions. Adam would have remained morally innocent before God.

I don't know that dinosaurs have existed, I can only go by what I have heard or been taught. Yes, they could be fake too.

That was funny, but it doesn't work that way. There is only one way to the Father: Jesus Christ. You cannot enter Heaven except through Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the Door, the only Door. Jesus Christ is the Way, the only Way to the Father. No one comes to the Father except through Jesus Christ (now this I can answer definitively because the Bible answers this age-old question). This I have Scripture for, not conjecture nor speculation. You have just crossed over into my area of expertise as it were.
