So if I am going to become an engineer in whichever field, I should come to the University of Tennessee instead of MIT because I like it more? Just making sure I understand you correctly.

And where did you read one of his plays?

Your grammar is excellent. ZOMG 😱 I agree with you! ❌

Byes!

Well yeah, I mean I chose to apply to University College London instead of Cambridge, though still a very good university Cambridge gets better results, in my degree choice (philosophy). I chose it because of its position.

What part of that is incorrect? Give me some grammar rules.

Also, there is nothing against conjunctions to begin a sentence if you when to use them properly.

Will you please make a point instead of just trolling?

Have a look at your structure up to the comma. Ending with Whichever in that context doesn't seem right and no it's never very good to start with "And" in English. In American English who knows you can't even spell your words correctly. Color instead of colour etc. Are you sure you are not from down south?

There were some grammar mistakes in that very post. There needs to be a comma after 'context', a comma before and after the 'and' and there's a missing comma after 'knows'.

Well would you go to a technical school to get a philosophy degree?

I know nothing about University College London, but I'm going to assume it has at the very least a decent program. Obviously, not all people choose a college for the degree prestige only or only location or only sports, and so on.

Point is, if you choose to go to a school INTERNATIONALLY it is likely strictly based on the degree prestige. Location may play a part but I would not choose Florida A&M over MIT as an engineer based on location (I'm not an enigeneering major; just an easy example). The schools considered will have to be at least close in the eyes of employers.

You comma rule is subjective. You actually left out necessary commas in that illogical rant. And you can use conjunctions at the beginning. Please write in complete sentences.

I'm done responding to you. I see why so many do not like you around.

That's wrong; unless there was also one added after 'whichever'.

Though I feel this is off-topic.

Shooting and that.

Based on your response I can see that you're a lost cause and fail to see the logic in what I said and the lack of which in what you said so I am done.

Plus your age in unspecified and you seem young so yeah..

I do see your point with the fact that he chose it internationally. However, it could be that he had very little choice in the matter, many universities are hesitant to house foreign students, as they are usually given grants. This then saps money from the budget, as this seems to be a fairly rich university and large, it would not be a problem.

Agreed, except for one thing: VA Tech is hard to get into. It is unlikely to be a last resort school.

Kiplenger's Personal Finance ranked the school #18 in the top public universities of the U.S.

VA Tech Freshman

VA Tech International Students

Applying to this school, for English, does not make much sense for an international student.
