USH'S MATRIX GAME 2006 FOURTH ASSIGNMENT (PHILOSOPHY)- 'The Door'

Started by Ushgarak102 pages

Yes! A very great feat of coding indeed, to give the entire sentinel army shells inside the Matrix which cannot possibly exist as part of the standard programming.

Sounds like a suspect to me.

Okay, well, I come to this conclusion for Klez.

If the Virus cannot be stopped, Klez will allow it to do what it's meant to do, which will put him in the wrong but win us the war.

If the Virus can be stopped, however, Klez will do his best to stop it.

-

Sennacherib seems our most likely candidate, then.

.

It doesn`t make much sense to me, you either can stop it ot not. Some of us want to try.

Klez does not think that the Virus can be stopped, so he will allow it to do as it will and end the Matrix. But, if the others can prove to him that the Virus can be stopped, then he will help stop it.

Klez isn't much of an optimist. He didn't think the Door should have been opened in the first place.

Funny how almost entire pro-Virus camp changed their mind.... Did my and Berserker`s arguments helped, or is it because Ush said that it doesn`t make you look good?

"You are now alone, Azrael."- Melkor looks at him firmly.

And Sennacherib wouldn`t want the destruction of Matrix now, as it would allow the humankind to win.

That's kinda off the point of the posed question, Klez, which assumed you had the power to stop it. But nvm, I have tortured you enough and I have the gist of things. Everyone has given the matter some thought, and has been vigorously challenged by me, and so that ends the philosophy knot for this game.

A bit of both, Melkor.

Klez remains quiet.

I am not sure anyone made this observation- Jericho is kind of human Sennacherib, isn`t he? Also the part that both are strategic prodigys of their kinds.....

Gosh, almost as if it was written that way!

Well, clever plot, very clever.

If anyone remembers, Jericho's big trick was to be able to think as the Machines did.

Yes, Jericho has become Sennacherib. When you look at him, you see what your path is if you would do as he does- the villain from the last game.

The ironic bit is that it didn't take becoming a computer programme for Jericho to lose his humanity.

Sennacherib seems obvious. He does possess everything but Ush I thought he said he didn't know what was behind the door?

Maybe he lied but yeah the King does seem to fit everything.

Also as to Azreal Berserker will say this, "How quickly we have turned on you. Last time I checked I or anyone else here didn't lie, sneak, and plot behind your back. I say it is you who turned on us first."

I think it's Sennacherib also, unless someone has another plausible suspect.

Curses, Azrael must be away.

Ah well, he will reply soon, I am sure.

The reason he is not replying right now is that he seems to be deteriorating faster than the others, coughing up blood.

And now... you can all smell cigarette smoke.

"I smell cigarettes.... I think my mind is losing it as well. **** it." -Melkor looks in terror as his companions are dying.

Azrael snaps, his calm facade vanishing in an instant, as he cuts short their tirades,
"You disgust me. Do you think so little of me that you believe I would work directly for the death of so many billions of people? Pathetic. All you want is somebody to blame, and you take the traitorous musings of a creature whose claim to humanity has long vanished as evidence of my betrayal?

He looks at Heph, "And you, who stood next to me throughout the ordeal of Melitus' factory? Who knows firsthand that that man made clones of each of us. Take a moment to think about it: when did I have a chance to correspond with Jericho? Never. But, oh! think of this, was there anybody else, awfully similar to me, that he might have been able to talk to? You doubt my loyalty, but I doubt your friendship."

Yeah... He's not happy.

"I asked you if you had done it you did not answer. You have made your point that lives do not matter to you as long as you reach your goal. And the Blame falls to us all. You for either choosing to disregard life or for us in falling for it. Either way we did not betray you and sentenced you to death behind your back. As for Jericho he has no reason to lie to us as his goal is done. So I ask again is what he said true did you betray us?"

Berserker is not happy either.

"Perhaps, comrade," Azrael says with a barely contained sneer, "You didn't understand what I said. Did I betray you? No. The very suggestion fills me with anger, and the only reason I did not reply to your question was because I could not be sure it wouldn't be with my fists. Perhaps Heph or one of the others can better understand the situation, since you are obviously incapable of doing so."

Heph seems very clammy and awkward at this point.

"I'm sorry, Azrael, but I don't feel comfortable having that much control over billions of people," he replies.

"You realise Jericho was talking about my clone, not me, though, didn't you? I thought you must surely have realised that."
