I agree with you, but not entirely. The thread should've been named "Idiots should not have children".
In case you didn't know, there are certain people in this world that just don't think. Yes, such people exist. Do you think they actually want a child? I'm not talking about those people for whom having children is like a business (by making them beg, selling them, or getting "social assistance", or what the hell you call it).
I'm talking about those people who don't care/know that sexual intercourse can lead to pregnancy. Condoms are obviously unknown to them.
They may not be retarded (or are they?), but they certainly are uneducated. And that's their parents' fault.
In my opinion, wealth doesn't matter as much as the kind of education the kid receives from his parents, or the environment he grows up in. The child tends to act like his parents. If his parents act like ignorant bums, he'll grow up to be just like them.
Hell, if a poor couple had the intelligence to figure out that they can't afford a kid at that time, they wouldn't have it in the first place.
The only solution would be to educate the masses, or at least inform them about the development of children ("where do babies come from??"😉, the contraceptive methods available, and about the responsibilities that come with a child.
But, that's pretty impossible I say.
im still highly confused on why people think having a child with low income is a major contributor to the worlds social ill's. Im more scared of ultra rich people whom have children with no real ambition of raising the child and pushing them off to the side until they come of age and inherit the family finances and use their inherited money and power to compensate for the emptiness of a broken childhood

One to replace the father
One to replace the mother
And one to increase the populationOmitting the increase the population part to, oh, China and India 😄
Umm....you just contradicted that whole arugment with your last statement, no offense. China and India are prime examples WHY NOT to increase the population.
And remember- parents usually dont die in childbirth anymore, and the father doesnt die with the mother -so the children really arent replacing anybody. There could be up to four generations of family living at a single time.
Strictly from a mathematical perspective, there is really no way to have more than one child and still keep the population level. Im not advocating that by any means, but thats the simple truth.

That is mathematical nonsense. Actually mathematically speaking everyone would need exactly two children to keep the population.
Who taught you math?
