Awesome pic. HE and Ego are from the "Thor the mighty avenger" series?

meaning non cannon?

Nah, High Evolutionary is going to be taking on Thor and Iron Man along with some other villain in the Thor/Iron Man series being written by DnA. It's cannon. Apparently the two main villains will be using a lot of powerful lackeys so it'll be fun to see Thor taking on someone like Ultron -I just keep picturing him- and so on without being on a team.

Thor's taking on Ego in the Astonishing Thor mini by Rodi. It's also cannon.

Thor should get his own sub-forum.

Maybe after the movie opens...we can hope.

^He should.

Some new Ferry art:

Looks f*cking awesome. I really want Thor to go Cosmic again.

His facing the High Evolutionary, Glory -picture all of the Olympians being in the body of Zeus like the Uni Mind- and Ego in the upcoming minis. I would have preferred Galactus or the Celestials but whatever.

Phuck that looks good! Good to see Thor hit the spaceway's again and taking on cosmic scale villians 👆

HE gets exposure pretty much every year, good to see he has a following.

Now, if he only he can be shown to convincingly beat a stupid one dimensional piece of shit brick like the Hulk in h2h for once.

With all his exotic powers and showings against various foes of planet busting + power levels, a simple unamped, non-controversial KO victory over the big green goober would be the biggest boost in reputation Thor could ever get.

Can someone please PM me details about a supposed new Thunderstrike comic/arc?

He should be a cosmic hero again.

I'm too lazy to PM you:

DeFalco is doing a new a Thunderstrike mini series.

Spoiler:
It's not going to be Eric though. More than likely it'll be his son.

An awesome series.

A look at Asgard throughout the histories:

Sometimes I forget how similar Asgard and New Genesis were in terms of looks. It will take some talent to get Asgard back into a high tech form without making it seem as if the writer/artist is drawing off of the New Gods.

I for one would grant all Asgardians flight, along with some other powers and so on. Back in the early Kirby days, every Asgardian we were introduced to felt powerful.

So, Galactus will probably job again huh?

Oh well, at least its to Thor.

nah I don't think this will go that way.
at least I hope they show Thor going all out on him.
he's been written pretty powerful in these series so far

Thor beat defeated a long time before he was whored out by Marvel.

If Thor stomps Galactus, I'd love it but at the same time, I'd probably enjoy an awesome t fight where Thor goes down fighting. Hopefully this Galactus is described as a Cosmic Entity and so on. That way, both sides would come out impressive.

I'm liking this Avenger arc less and less as they move away from including Kang in the storyline and there are no fun alternate futures involved either.

That's because Kang's worthless and no one -besides you- gives a shit about him. Besides, if he appeared, he'd just get his ass kicked by Thor again.

Maybe Bendis likes Thor now?

I just like storylines that play with more obscure characters. If the future they visited was less about Hulk and Iron-man and more about Iron-fist and Doctor Voodoo I would be much more interested.

Also Kang rockz and being beaten by Thor at the end is no shame. He kicked a prepped Doom's *ss recently anyways.
