Thor Discussion

Thor's sudden hard on for Loki feels forced. I'm hoping Loki is manipulating his mind from beyond the grave to some extent.

The big red guy seems to be pretty uber. Matt Fraction did say that the villains in this story were so powerful, they were capable of staving the Entropy of a Universe etc.

The dude seems like a Universal power.

I'm guessing Odin and most likely Surtur are going to be resurrected by his hand. Here's hoping Odin beats the shit out of him down the line.

I thought the same, but Fraction did say that he was exploring some different aspects of Thor so I'm assuming that this includes some of his personal relationships.

Looks like the cosmic road is going to travel through your boy now. Have fun with it.

Preview of Chaos War:Thor#1

That's Thor Vs Glory(he/she/it has the essence of an entire pantheon of gods).

Thor and the Asgardians appear to be in trouble all the way across the board. I haven't seen one thing that makes it look like they will survive until next year... then again Guy said that Odin is coming back. They will most likely need him.

The only interesting thing has been the inclusion of the 'nine worlds = nine universes'.

Very Interesting, I liked the Idea of the Nine Worlds acting as quantum knots that appear in Warren Ellis's Anna Mercury.

I'm not saying anything new here but: Namor is awesome.

latest "Thor the mighty avenger"?

So it looks like there's a new Thor mini called "Asonishing Thor."

Ego the Living Planet returns

also curious to see who Rodi means by "a couple of other big cosmic players" showing up

would it be canon?

i dont see anything to suggest otherwise. In the interview they mention how Thor's mentality would be now that Asgard has fallen and some asgardians have had their souls devoured in the recent arc. Of course Rodi mentioned that it's up to fraction to decide that and that his Thor is too busy to reflect on the bad times.

👆 thanks

Loki #1 was pretty good it even uses the original creation for Mojilnor for the story.

Astonishing Thor #1 preview:

Beautiful art. Hope Thor vs. Ego is a great fight. Rodi seems to be a more down to Earth writer (IRCC he expressed amazement at beings talking in space or something) and has only written a warrior like Thor. We'll see how he handles a cosmic Thor.

lovely art

Mike Choi's art always has been.

loved the issue.

did Thor stop a tidal wave with a hammer toss?
