3. i thought the autobots looked very distinguished, from miniature and sleek Jazz with the shades and bunny ears, to wide and buff Ironhide w/ huge arm cannons you can't mistake, not too mention they all have distinctive colours, personalities as well as voices. 😎

I know they can be distinguished when standing around, but I'm talking about the fight scenes.

Actually in the fight scenes I think they did a good job with the autobots showing off their strengths.

I still love when Ironhide soots the ground to get more lift and shoot some more.

a) when bumblebee is transformed, all the parts on him such as, arms, legs, chest, his mid section, head, are all actual parts from the 08 concept camaro, ofcourse they shift and slide into different places but its all there and factually correct. As for Frenzy's head turning into mikaela's cellphone, complicated probably. the original cartoon animation was not complex enough to get everything right but the movie one is pretty correct. that answer anything? heh

b) the fight scenes, i did have a pretty good idea of what went on yeah.

How long was the film?

No possible way. If you remember in the movie, they also open the hood of the car, and it's just the engine. There is no space for all of the robotic parts.

Are you a fan of the series with knowledge of the characters and stuff?

maybe the engine also breaks apart when they're in biped mode... then it all come back to the rightful places when they're in auto mode...

The engine is small, though, IIRC.

Or it could have been in outer covering.

Just because we see it doesn't mean that is really an engine.

Does scale really matter?

I was shocked!
I had never considered myself to be a Transformers fan. But I LOVED this movie and I am definately getting into it now. 10/10

Right there with you Shika.

I used to follow Beast Wars as a kid, loved it, but that's all.

Female TF nerds sometimes understand and know more then average guy nerds, it's a proven fact that exists only in TF fandom. This doesn't apply for Star Wars or Star Trek though...

when he's in his alt. mode (camaro) all his 'parts' go back to the right place. Like for example, in the 2nd pic you can clearly see his ankle's are the tires, and the shocks are in there too to form part of his plant foot or w/e, once he turns back into the car, it returns to its proper location in the car...its unbelievable i know. ILM was pushed to the limit by michael bay

-i know quite a bit about the characters and some knowledge yes, but i grew up with Beast Wars.
