Sounds like Monarchs idea a bit.

Apparently soon theres supposed to be an Aztec the Ultimate Man trade coming out soon. Might this mean that Aztec will be making a return appearance in Final Crisis. The timing of the trade coming out is extremely suspect.

I highly doubt the Libra thing is going to be the main focus of the series.

Glad to see the New Gods will get a different spotlight.

However, don't be surprise if DC pulls some kind of super power for Superman that tops anything the 'real' New Gods can do.

Superman is the favorite child of DC. They wouldn't dare make someone more powerful without Superman having his own upgrade.

Good news about the New Gods, but it has been suggested for years though. In Anarky #2 an avatar was said to be only a fraction of the omnipotent being of Darkseid.

Yep, in New Gods Darkseid reveals to Vykin he is also an avatar and the "real Darkseid" has never been beaten

I have got five dollars that says if the new gods a retconned to being cosmic giants, superman flies up and koes each with his fists.

Well they always were cosmic giants, like a planet is like smaller then their eye

I don't see why this is such a big surprise to you, its been hinted at a few times in the DC Universe and you knew it and threw it out the window because you rate DC very low 😱 . Hell even some stuff in Death of the New Gods aren't totally true, like is that really what The Source/God looks like or does he look completely different (a Man) 😉
