Damn Johns for making the Rogues worth reading. And also the Legion, though they've always been kinda cool.

I feel like FC is epic, but not because of FC itself.

lol, wut? I don't remember saying that about Secret Invasion. I'm reading it out of a sense of duty, but haven't picked up any of the tie-ins. FC tie-ins on the other hand have been awesome.

LOL I know you didn't say that, but I was just commenting that for both the big two's events, the tie ins have been far superior. This is actually a critique that has been common in many reviews (ign, newsarama etc.) ✅

in the case of FC, tie-ins > the main story, (so far at least.)

I get the feeling Johns is trying to foreshadow his Darkest Night arc in '09 with all the focus on the Lanterns in the Legion arc.

I want Prime to defeat Sodam because NOBODY would see that coming. Anyone in his right senses would say that Sodam would win easy, but didn't people started to feel that Monarch would beat Prime too? That makes him beating Monarch more all that unexpected.

So Prime winning would be a surprise and good writing (not logical, but a better twist), hopefully he does.

Rogues Revenge was phenomenal, and so was Legion of 3 Worlds.

Though, if I had to complain about one thing it's that Rond Vidar's 'last showing' was way too good ..

Wrong. You're just use to seeing those pansy ass Lanterns Geoff usually writes. Where shields shatter at the first sign of contact and the power ring drops down to 50% power just from flying from one city to the next. Geoff actually got it right for once.

Case in point: This whole discussion about Legion of 3 Worlds is about how excited everyone is to see Yat rematched with SBP.

And then once that's over, we'll probably get a lead in for Flash: Rebirth with the lightning rod being involved.
