I thought Submit was slightly above average. Amusing that both Morrison tie ins (Submit and Beyond) receive mixed reviews but most other tie ins are universally praised. But they also focus less on the actual premise and plot of FC like Legion/Rogues and Revelations to some degree.
I loved every issue of the main series though. Deeply intriguing storytelling while cleverly pulling from a vast amount of characters like the other Crisis series. I like how the evil gods seem less interested in defeating the heroes and more concerned with enslaving humanity while bringing forth the 5th world. No respect for the heroes, "just hide in your towers and wait for us to come rape you kthxbye".
Pacheco's portions did looked rushed but he probably did all he could do with no notice given. Still no excuse for putting Doug Mahnke on the final issue even though he would have been the next best thing to Jones assuming Jones could finish on time.
DC needs to stop releasing events until the final issue is drawn and ready.
